Good for even adults
I got this after watching Harriet we Winton draw/paint a rose upside down. This goes along with drawing from the right side of the brain. It is great for improving your art.

Fun and training the brain. Awesome!
Such a fun book. I bought this for my 6year old godson for Christmas. I can’t wait for him to see it. I’m sure he is going to LOVE it! He always draws something and the twist of it being upside down will sure amuse him. I really like that there are items to draw for every kid - flowers, animals, things that go, foods and more. I also love the different levels of difficulty as some images are easier and some are more complex. I’m sure he will love to show of his new skills (of drawing upside down), but best of all its training his brain to be more focused and creative. I couldn’t ask for a better gift.

Timeless fun
This book was a Christmas gift for my son, and while he was a little indifferent about things being upside down..he ended up enjoying the process, as did I!Each page has a blank side so it’s almost like a workbook. In my opinion it works well for all ages because the pictures are both timeless are dynamically challenging. Pop-art style I suppose? He is 8, but I could see younger kids working well independently too— best of luck!

A beginner book for big dreams!
This book is amazing!! My toddler is loving the images and really flexing his abilities with this book. In fact, I completed a drawing alongside him and found I enjoyed it as well! It is professionally made with fantastic beginner images! I love that this is created by a true artist whose work has been featured on HGTV! Now, fingers crossed this book inspires my little one to be just as skillful and creative.

Great learning tool!
What a great idea! Nicely bound paperback and the cover has a “velvety smooth” feel to it, feels nice to hold. The instruction is simply illustrated, yet still challenging. I can’t wait to experience this with my nephew. He’s pretty smart an likes to draw. Me, I was having a hard time drawing upside down hearts the other day. I might have to draw along with him 😉

So Fun!
This came at the perfect time. I was looking to get my 8 yr old interested in more art projects with me and I want her using her right brain more... well a couple of days after I got this I was asked to do the Great American Teach-In for her 2nd grade class. I chose to do two upside-down drawings from this book (The baby emu and the masked bunny). We did it first upside down on one side of the page then we all tried it right side up to see which drawing they felt they did their best on. What a smart and fun book! I am going to share the book with the kids from the class in the hopes their parents will get it at home too.

Cool book
I bought this book in November 2020, but my kids have had a hard time getting into it. It's a great concept & the steps are easy to follow. I recommend it to kids who are open to solving things in different ways. Good quality book in terms of paper and cover, & print quality.

Great Resource for Brainiacs! :)
I bought this thinking of Christmas for my boy but I am hooked and I'm keeping it for myself! I'm mental health therapist (not currently working with trauma clients) but I can see this as a resource for therapists wanting to help their clients heal by activating the creativity of the Right Brain. Surely recommending this to colleagues! Also recommend it to anyone that cares for their brain fitness!
