They work great for me! These are my first tattoos ever. Tattoooing yourself has its drawbacks but im happy with them. They arent perfect but not because of the needle.

Durable, best option within this price range.
I really like Mast 10 gauge bugpin cartridges. Paired with a short stroke machine, creates very soft blends. Haven’t had an issue with any Mast cartridge. Their 1007RM-1027RM are my personal favorite shaders. I’ve also used their 1201RL along with bigger liners and RS/RM. I believe there isn’t a better choice at this price point. Reference pictures were used with mostly 12003RS/1205RS/1207RS for lining and 1009RM for shading. The sun picture was done with different 12gauge liner. Which is why the dots in the hair are a larger diameter. Mast bugpin 3RL dots are half the size.

I've gone through two different sizes and the needles won't stay in. They just pop right out.
