Use them over 2 years, easy to wash, recommended it

These withstood at least a few years of spills and abuse by my young children before I had to replace them. And I bought them again. Now we use the old ones for crafts, painting and coloring. They're the right thickness, have some thermal insulation and are soft to the touch. They wipe right off, no matter the spill and dry quickly. One thing I've learned is that you don't want to submerge them in water, or they may develop some mildew -- unless you change them to dry.

So EASY to clean! Both sides are the same material and design. Will not "wave" or warp if very hot plates are placed on it. You will like these attractive place mats very much!

These look great, but the edges start to separate soon after starting to use them. We've had these for a little over a year, and only adults using them, and they're all coming apart. I'm having to purchase new ones now.

These placements are just as depicted. We ordered 6 and have been using them for a month and are happy with them. They are easy to wipe clean, and seem to be sturdy and durable. We got them to protect a wood table from heat and they are doing the job :)
