artline Black Beauty Ultra dark Pencil Pack of 2 (2)

I bought my son a few boxes of pencils before the school year and for some reason I could barely see the writing. The lead color is so light that I needed.a magnifying glass to check my son's homework. Don't remember this being an issue when I was a kid and my eyesight is still 20/20. I went looking for darker pencils and came across these - and they deliver. Plenty dark and easy to see. I can't remember exactly what pencil script looked like when I was young, but think these are darker than the ones I had. They erase just as easily as a regular #2 pencil so this is an easy recommend. Will be buying these again the future when needed.

O, my. If these pencils were any better, my review would not be fit for children! Luv these pencils! As I've gotten older, I've come to the conclusion that it's the quality of the little things that can make life so delightful. I got started on logic grid puzzles this year. My first pencils were USA Gold brand from Tennessee (very good pencils). Then, when I couldn't find them, I tried USA Titanium (don't recommend at all). I also tried Ticonderoga (very good pencils). Then I decided I wanted to treat myself, so I got these Black Beauty pencils and Apsara pencils. Both sharpen smoothly and easily to a nice sharp point. Both have easy to see dark lead. Both are easy to erase (although the USA Gold and Ticonderoga erase more completely). They also come with a very nice little sharpener (which I had not noted when I placed my order.) So, I heartily recommend these pencils. Treat yourself - life is short!

I like these pencils, great for doing crossword puzzles. Nice and dark. But they seem to wear out a bit quickly, I feel like I'm always sharpening them.

Dark & soft lead. Sharpens well.

My eyes aren't great, but it seems that pencils are getting lighter and lighter. I enjoy puzzles, but can't see what I've written. These pencils are such high quality even when you sharpen them, or write with them, they are buttery smooth. I can see finally. If I were an artist, these would have to be in your tool kit. I love these.

These are great for kids with really light touch when they write. They show up fantastically on paper. They are good for people with low vision because they write very darkly. I love these for the classroom. I would give these an A+.

Ja die Stifte sind schön schwarz aber mit dem Spitzen klappt es leider nicht so gut. Die Mine scheint im Inneren sehr gebrochen zu sein, egal wie ich es versucht habe, die Mine bricht ab. Zwei Stifte wurden einfach weggespitzt ohne sie je zum Zeichnen benutzt zu haben. Gut, dass noch einige da sind, hoffe, die sind nicht alle so minderwertig.
