Was looking for something really light to take on hikes. This hits the mark. It’s so good. Highly recommend.

These Stingers are a great snack when hiking or camping as they are thin and lightweight for packing and tasty and satisfying for eating. They are gluten free with no sacrifice on flavor or texture. They are made of oat flour, rice flour and honey as essentially the ingredients that you can notice when eating. While gluten is not an issue for me, I know it is a challenge for others, especially when looking for something that has good flavor and does not somehow have an off-putting mouth feel. I prefer the Cinnamon flavor, but it is more like a hint of Cinnamon, rather than like a snickerdoodle cookie, for instance. All of the flavors are pleasant and if offered any I will gladly accept. One note — i ordered by the box which is essentially a display box used in groceries, etc., for selling individually wrapped wafers. The box itself is thin cardboard which is standard for such a multipack display. In other words, not a substantial box to hold up on its own to the rigors of shipping. The shipper does not appear to be Amazon (but I may be mistaken); nevertheless, it was shipped in a thin plastic bag which meant when bouncing around with other various shipments that the thin box arrived semi-crushed. This happened not once but twice. I complained the first time I received crumbled items and why they were crumbled and they offered a second shipment at no cost to me, but still in the same bag method. Of course they stayed sealed and the taste was not altered, but I will warn you, it makes for a bit of a mess when opening the package and eating. 5 Stars for the product itself. 0 Stars for the ridiculous shipping method.

These are delicious! They are also gluten free and don't upset my tummy! I am a runner and I used to make a PB & J before my runs. I now eat one of these waffles and I find it provides enough energy for me for a quick 4-5 mile run. If I am doing a longer run, I will start with a waffle and supplement with gels after I hit the 7 mile mark. My teenage son also takes these with him to track practice and to use before a meet. It is just enough energy for him before he runs without making him feel full or upsetting his stomach. These are definitely are go to snack before any work out!

I think they taste great. They are very flat so I can easily carry 5-6 in one of my jersey pockets and still have room for other items during long bike rides. I have also used during my last 2 marathons (not as easily stored in my running gear, but I make it work). I have a sensitive stomach and these are the easiest thing for me to take in when I am not wanting to eat, but know that I need the calories during long endurance activities. I alternate a vanilla power gel (also gluten free) and one of these every 30 min on a bike ride and during a marathon. I think the cinnamon taste the best. 5 stars on the product, 3 or less on the most recent shipping of this item due to the fact that at the checkout it said it would arrive on a Tuesday (I order at least a box a month). When I still hadn't received my package by the following day, I checked my order and it then said to arrive by Wednesday before 8pm (I am certain this is NOT what it said when I confirmed the purchase). Normally this wouldn't matter but my husband and son were leaving on a 4 day mountain bike trip Wednesday at 5pm. I had not planned on having to drive to purchase these items (I also bought gluten free honey stingers, exact same story), but had to change my schedule for the day and travel to the nearest store that carries them (a 2 hour round trip), plus pay an additional cost since I was buying singles. Amazon prime is usually right on track, but not for this item..... and when I was counting on it :(

Better flavor than expected. Shockingly, I think I even prefer these over the original flavor at this point. I expected it to taste like Cinnamon & Sugar Toast, but with Honey added. It doesn’t, it has a more subtle cinnamon flavor, which doesn’t take anything away from the amazing honey waffle taste your expect from the product. I love them for backpacking, running, & biking - where fitting everything flat into a pack is a bonus - and these can be shoved everywhere and don’t go bad on the trail. I’ve even roasted a marshmallow once, placed it on the waffle, and loved it!

I fell in love with Honey Stinger Waffles after trying some free samples at the Boston Marathon Expo - but find them really difficult to buy in the UK. Amazon sellers always come up trumps though - and this was no exception! Waffle box arrived fully intact with no crushed waffles (that I've found so far) - all fresh and in date. Package arrived in good time, given the global circumstances and coming from overseas, well within the stated expected delivery time - great seller and fantastic product. Would recommend both.
