Wonderful tasty pudding.
I enjoyed this pudding very much. Just the right amount of sugar, the taste was wonderful and moist.

The Best dessert in the world.
I have this every year. One I had for over two years, and it was perfect - just bought another for storage.

Christmas Pudding
It tasted really good as it was nice and moist. Well worth the money.

It may not be like you think if you watched Scooge with Geo C Scott.
Plum pudding I purchased called to be "steamed" for two hours. The result is a soft fruit-cake like substance (since neither my wife nor I could really describe it) that is without the cake. Use your imagination here. It comes out with great fragrance, but the taste is loose in your mouth. However, once its cooled it tastes a lot like fruit-cake and is actually quite good. In fact, it gets a bit better a couple of days after and doesn't need refrigeration (although I would put it in). I think I would try it again, but it certainly is worth the experience. It is actually cheaper than Texas Fruitcakes. I give it 5/6 triumph!

Surprisingly Dense
I know an English person who has recommended Christmas pudding to me for a while. Amazon randomly suggested I might like this curious bowl of very dense pudding and I needed ~$15 added to an order for free shipping. A week later I had this and excitedly heated it up.18 hours later I'd eaten 800g of pudding and have been haunted by its loss ever since. There seems to be no local suppliers but I've had no cause to order things since then and would feel silly buying three puddings to cross the free shipping boundary. The very heart of me aches for more pudding.

Very Dense
This is very very dense, and when cold, you really have to work at it with a knife. Once microwaved (don't follow package directions, that is too much, only needs a few minutes on defrost). This is my first Christmas pudding, so I really have nothing to compare it to. I felt the flavor to be a bit odd, and I think it will take some getting used to, but again, this is my first "pudding" so really have no comparison. Once I figured out how to warm it properly (as opposed to cooking it, which is a "no no", I ate it with bourbon butter. As it has no refrigeration instructions, I am not sure how to preserve it. It was delivered cold, as it was left outside as is normal for Amazon delivery and I stashed it in the fridge. I would say if you can get it on sale, and you are curious, give it a try.

Tasted Homemade
We had this as desert following a traditional Irish Christmas dinner. While many people serve with a glaze, this pudding was very moist and flavorful, and I believe a glaze would have masked some of the wonderful tastes. Considering the work that goes into finding the ingredients and making this at home from scratch, the whole family agreed it was as good (or better than) homemade.

Taste of Home
My Scottish son-in-law really missed having Christmas pudding when he married my daughter and moved here. In the first years, I had to order Christmas puddings from the UK. Sometimes it took weeks for them to get here. This is authentic pudding that arrives in a few days. My son-in-law loves it, and I don’t have to worry about whether or not it will arrive in time.
