Pricey, but worth it!
Gorgeous color and goes on with great coverage. While it was a little pricey, it is great quality.

Great option if you can’t sand.

Easy to ise and forgiving when making a mistake
I had a kitchen table top that was the old orange color stain so I bought a Retique It kit with the stain and wood grain tools. It turned out pretty good. I messed up on one side with the grain tool but it was easy to reapply the stain and redo. A light sanding before starting, no need to remove old stain first and lots less work involve. I definitely recommend Retique It.

Not satisfied
Very disappointing. I used on my fiberglass front door in hopes of putting a new stain finish. The stain did not soak into surface like advertised. I believe paint would have worked the same and will now need to start over using a gel stain again.

Thinner material that requires multiple coats
I have tried gel stain from home depot and it works fine but this stuff is different and more uniform and realistic looking. I tried it on a worn down almost cherry wood color table and it transformed it beautifully. When dried it produced a more matte finish and now I need to decide if I will use semi gloss to seal it or matte top coat to keep the rustic look. When I run my hand along the table it feels grainy so you will need to use a top coat to finish.

Cool product
This stuff is pretty cool. It’s like you just paint on a wood look. You can do one coat or two depending on how dark you want it. The first pic is of the initial cream color and the second is the result on my night stand after one coat. Debating if I want another coat but apparently you do have to do a coat of polyurethane when you’re done.

Love the concept not the color
Not a fan of the color at all, but I love the concept of not having to strip furniture. I will definitely check out other stain colors.
