For the pro plus (ch951), can or should it be left plugged in all the time when idle? or should it remain unplugged after fully charged?

We would like to inform you that this vacuum can be left on the charger when not in use.

Does it come with a charging adaptor?

It comes with a cord with a black box that plugs into a 110 receptacle on the wall and a round plug that fits into the vacuum on the other. I keep mine plugged in and charging all of the time. This is a great little machine, powerful suction, easy to handle and empty, even for my arthritic hands! Shark products cannot be beat. I have 5 and love all of them.

Can the rechargeable battery be replaced by the owner when it finally wears out?

According to the user manual, there are no user-serviceable parts, but there is no law stopping you from attempting to replace it on your own. It's probably a battery pack of 16650 cells or something like that. Apparently SharkNinja doesn't believe in Right to Repair and supports creating more e-waste after your 1 or 2 years of warranty period.

What is the difference between pet pro plus ch951 and pet pro ch950?

Comes without a UK compatible charger plug

Nice lightweight vacuum. Does not come with charger which is suitable for UK and therefore is necessary to purchase a different charger at an additional £15.99. This in not only inconvenient but makes it not the good value I purchased it for.

Plug supplied doesn’t work in Britain

The plug supplied is not compatible with British sockets. No warning when purchasing that you need to buy a British charger. Frustrating and more expense.

Charger was US style and cannot be used in the UK. Had to purchase a UK fitting costing £13.99.

Great product, but it came with a US style plug on the charger. I had to buy a charger with UK standard three pin plug costing an extra £13.99 There was also no mounting dock as shown in the instruction leaflet.

It works really well, sucks in all dust, dirt. We use it on furniture, window, small areas of the floor occasionally. However, not all brushes are good. Mainly we use the pet brush though we don't have a pet :D Its self-cleaning function prevents it from making the surrounding dirty while vacuum cleaning. Around half a year passed from my purchase and it is still working fine, just became a bit weary.

This arrive just last night...and I already used it today! I was looking at handheld cordless vacuums for months already....most have reviews that make you think twice...this one does have a few negative comments...but so what...can't please everyone! I unpacked it, charged it, and took it out to vac my pickup...cleaned the folds in the leather seats well, and picked up all the stuff on the carpet...it wasn't very dirty...but I was pleased with it! This vac meets my need perfectly! I'm keeping it in my truck camper for quick pickups and disaster cleanups...yikes! Seems to work well...not vey loud (I was expecting it to be much louder) so I love that! It sucks fine, has a great carpet / floor accessory that even other reports give it two thumbs up, and it is so simple to dump the junk! Overall...I am happy with my purchase!
