These underwater lights have been thoughtfully engineered to deliver excellent performance at a decent price point. I installed a pair of the blue lights on my Grady-White 282 Sailfish. They lit up the transom sufficiently well. Prior to their installation, I characterized their conducted emissions into the 12 V supply as well as their radiated (over the air) emissions. I have seen many examples of LED's drivers, (the circuitry that maintains the design current to the LED's with variations in input voltage) that have exhibited high levels of radio frequency (RF) interference. On a boat, this can manifest itself as interference with the VHF radio, FM radio, and sonar. Most electronic products are regulated by the FCC so they are tested to limits crafted to minimize interference with other equipment. Equipment installed on vehicles is exempt from these limits which makes vehicular LED lighting products with integral drivers likely to cause harmful interference. By my testing, it was evident that the design team took the necessary countermeasures to limit radio frequency interference to very low levels.

A lot of light for small lights
Good lights. Had to get something for the night down in keys. Saved me from costly repairs.

Excellent quality
Well made and easy to install. Had the multi light color ones on the boat prior but they were corroded and water got in them shorting them out. Not sure how long they were on the boat prior to me owning it, but was happy with them before. Wanted the exact replacement, but couldn’t find the multi color version. Only offered blue or white. A bit pricey, but well made.

Don’t use the included screws!!
The lights as a whole seem to be well built especially for being on the cheaper priced end of underwater lights. I have only tested them out of water and they are very bright, in the water is yet to be tested. The only problem I have had with them is the cheap screws they provide, even with a predrilled hole I had one shear off so I used some quality stainless screws that I had purchased previously for other mounting jobs. Better quality screws and some 3M 4200 sealant and you’re good to go on installing these.

Full of water inside after almost 2 seasons of usage.
They are good quality, but the led 's are small, i was expecting a bit more light out of them. I got them blue. The light is attracting a lot of bugs. After not even one year ther is moisture inside the 2 light. Cheapppppp ! They are done , fully destroyed, full of water inside after not yet 2 seasons of usage. Cheap quality !
