I'm 20 weeks pregnant, and sitting at a desk all day is killing me already. I looked at nearly every review on every cushion out there. I decided on this one because 1. it's cheaper than other similar products and 2. the reviews were good. My only complaint is that the band is really small. I have a very slender office chair yet the band is stretched to the max. I'll be moving the cushion to my car after I have my baby and resign my position, and there's no way it will fit around my seat. Still, it's a comfortable pillow that has helped my back tremendously. The memory foam is the right mix of soft and firm- exactly what you'd expect for memory foam. It's taller than I expected, but it still fits my chair and my back nicely (I'm 5'4"). Taller people could also benefit from this cushion, but if you're much shorter than I am (maybe shorter than 5'1") you may want to look elsewhere. The smell was not overwhelming when I took it out the package as long as you don't put your face on it. (Did I mention I'm pregnant? that means super smell and it was still okay). I recommend this cushion to everyone, and I may consider buying more of them in the future.

I have one of the worst backs of anyone on the planet... I have failed back surgery- a real medical term. I have yet another back Dr appt at the end of the month... which is usually useless... last time was told ... literally.... that my back was so effed that there was nothing can do. I am a person that has about one-two hours in the morning of working time. I do what we all call: reflex screaming. I can just be laying in bed and not move 1/4 inch and start screaming and flopping like a fish. It’s something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I’m also on very strong prescription meds. Enough about me.... Got this product yesterday; just put it together today.... hard for me to put together- on the lowest setting.... it hurt my back to even do that. But it’s together and I got on the floor and was on this thing for only 2-3 minutes! It made me dizzy. Took me 15 minutes to get off the floor. BUT my back feels better.... I’m actually freaking and I mean freaking... AMAZED! I can move, I can walk. No; the pain isn’t gone but it really did help. If this little contraption can help ME- even in a very few minutes- with the vicious back that I do have; I can see this helping everyone! I am definitely going to update this review after I use this more- I want to first try this in the morning- first thing.... when I’m really stiff but before I do any cleaning... and before my back is blown out for the day!

***Review from a registered therspist*** (No one paid me to write this). If you're looking for great lumbar support, look no further. I'm a registered Occupational Therapist and I myself have been experiencing low back pain. Based on my knowledge I believe it to be a bulging disc. I'm in home health which means I'm driving to my patient's home's all day. With an injury like this, the spine must be put in extension (that means bent backwards). Prolonged sitting in my vehicle has taken a toll on my back, as my car does not have great lumbar support. Not only does this work for putting your spine in extension by laying on it, but it's also perfect lumbar support for the car. I've tried the Mckenzie log roll and other lumbar cushions but this product actually works. I no longer have pain during my work day. I use the low setting and it does not force me to sit awkwardly in my vehicle like other products. I've actually purchased two of these-one for my car and one to use in the home to stretch my spine and put it in extension. I don't often leave reviews but this product is worth it! I also recommend this product to my patients!

Very well made, sturdy, the foam is slightly hard on the first day and having something in my back takes a little bit to get used to but on the second day, I didn't even notice it was there anymore, it is just plain comfortable and definitely helps with my posture. I use it for my office chair where i sit all day long. The chair is a regular office chair with a high back and armrests, the cushion fits perfectly, just the right thickness and I am not sitting on the edge like some other comments mention. There is only one strap so you have to keep it tight if you dont position the cushion at the very bottom but it stays in place so it is fine. Length of strap is plenty for any size chair. Only a few days and I love the product, I may get another ine for my car.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this device. It helps put my spine and ribs into alignment so I don't have to go to the Chiropractor as often. In fact, everyone in my house uses it when their spine is out. It works so well that I have a running joke with several friends that they don't come over to visit me, instead they come over to visit this and a few other alignment tools I have. Funny story. My husband's back was bothering him, so he got out this device and layed down on it. Then we had two friends come over, see my alignment tools, grab them, and lay down on them. Once they were finished they passed the devices to the next person. Then another 2 friends arrived and, after watching what everyone else were doing and asking about it they wanted to use them, but they had to wait their turn. I will say that this product is very difficult to adjust, but I've found that it works just fine for everyone, if I leave it in the strongest position, so I never need to actually adjust it. Would I get it again? If I couldn't find it I definitely would. I'm actually here to add this to several friend's Christmas Presents' List. (Not the ones who only visit me to use this! I would hate for them to stop visiting me because they have their own back adjuster. lol)

I got this to help with back aches and it’s been helpful with stretching out my back to reduce aches. I use it occasionally and I have found no problems with it. I wouldn’t recommend lying on it for long periods as it may get uncomfortable. Otherwise, i recommend it.
