Karinear Electric Ceramic Hob 60cm Built-in 4 Zones

I’m very happy with the Karinear Ceramic Hob 60cm Electric Hob. It looks sleek and modern in my kitchen, and the black glass finish gives it a really stylish appearance. The touch controls are easy to use and responsive, and the timer function is very convenient when cooking meals. The hob heats up quickly and cooks evenly, making everyday cooking much easier. I also like the safety lock feature, which gives extra peace of mind. The glass surface is easy to wipe clean and still looks great after regular use. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend it.

I was about to send this back thinking it didn’t work but when I went to take it out, one of the wires had come off, so it was my fault and I kept it, and I’m very happy I did. Looks nice. Easy as pie to install. Good price. I chose this hob because of its simplicity, I did not want a touch control again, my last one drove me absolutely crazy, this one, you turn it on, turn it up, turn it down, turn it off, simple! I would’ve liked a child safety lock, but I’m sure we’ll be absolutely fine. I’ll just keep my adult girls out of the kitchen, not that they do much in there anyway lol It came with a really good length of wire, good quality, instructions everywhere. A good leaflet with plenty of information. Image as it is, excuse the mess 🫣

Love the hob - it’s simple, does what it should and doesn’t beep and flash at you like the induction hobs I’ve used and aren’t so hard in the house electrics as induction hobs are. And it’s got real knobs!! Touchscreens are horrid in the kitchen. How can you cook without getting wet dirty hands, and then they don’t work. Good old-fashioned knobs work just like they should, all the time. My only gripe is how confusing it is, which knob goes to which burner. The farthest knob in, and the nearest knob control the closest two burners to you. Counterintuitive and we’ve already had a couple of accidents in this house in the month or so we’ve had it.

Worked ok so far

terrific buy...400.00 vs 1400.00 to replace old whirlpool model...highly recommend the grey wood grain....important - buy a ceramic top cleaner and give it light wipe down every day or two...might require some shimming to fit old hole, I used a piece of new window frame pine with #6 or #8 1.75" wood screws to adjust size of counter top hole.

So far so good this cooktop dropped right in and works awesome. The new look really updated our kitchen. The only installation issue was that the wire pigtail was about 3" shorter than my old cooktop's so I had to move the electrical junction box a little to hook up the wires.

Nice looking. Way to clean. No streaks. Cooks very hot so I had to learn to use it.
