The JOOLA Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table is a great value (mind you I purchased it from Amazon at 40% off MSRP). I was looking at purchasing an outdoor table for my family to play in our carport during the warmer/nicer months with the option to move it into our basement when it got too cold. Looking over the reviews of other tables (Stiga Coronado for one) I decided to go with the Nova due to the ease of assembly and storage. The shipping was fast and the delivery company worked well with us to make sure we were home for delivery. Assembling the table was a piece of cake. All you have to do is attach the "T" sections of the legs that have the casters and all that consisted of was using the included plates and two bolts per "foot" to bolt them together. Everything else was assembled. This is my first high quality table tennis table purchase so I don't have experience with other's build quality, but the Nova is very solid. The table top is solid and flat even though it's only 6mm surface. The casters are high quality, sturdy, all metal (exept for the rubber wheel surface), and all four will independently lock. I don't feel that I have to be gentle when moving the table. The other legs are solid and have adjustable feet. The only issue that I saw were that the two different sections stood at different heights in the middle so I had to use the net bracket to even them out to play. Speaking of the net, I read quite a few people complain about the quality of the net, but I haven't had a lot of issues with it and it works just fine. If the net is a HUGE deal to you, you'll probably want to invest in a higher quality one though. Overall, I have been very happy with this purchase. I have 5 children under the age of 12 and we play on the table AT LEAST 2 hours a day between everyone and it has held up VERY well. (I was even inspired to get a JOOLA catch-net/Ipong combo to use for working out). NOTE: Due to getting this table at the start of winter I have yet to use it outside. BUT looking at the build quality (table surface, powder coating, quality of welds, etc.) I have little doubt that it would work extremely well.

I have had this table for about a month. It seems to be very sturdy and well made. The surface is quite interesting...its like a solid piece of 1/4" resin. It seems like it will be very long lasting and has a nice look to it. The net is of quality design and keeps its tension. It is a 2 piece table, so it can be a bit difficult to get perfectly level if playing on an uneven surface. It folds up and down seemlessly, but is not like a normal recreational table that stays in one piece. When the tables are folded up the net generally needs to be taken down as well because it attaches to both sides of the table. The two table pieces lock when folded up and roll nicely. All of this won't matter if you plan to leave it in one place, but if planning to move it a lot it could be more work than you want. Assembly was a breeze, but the table pieces were quite heavy so you will need at least one other person to help, my wife was able to be my helper, so it doesn't have to be a "muscle man"...although my wife is pretty ripped ;). I'm not too particular about my surfaces, but like I said the surface seems even in terms of bounce and the net is very nice...not sure what else you would want in a table! Enjoy!

The quality of the table is good, setup was easy, took about 20 minutes for me and my 2 boys to assemble the table, shipping box was all torn up and I was worried about scratches and dents, luckily there was none of those, we had lots of fun playing over the Thanksgiving weekend, net posts and the net are okay quality. For some reason the table has very uneven bounce, low in some places and medium to high in some areas of the board, it is being stored outdoors under a cabana, we bought a cover for it. Overall we are satisfied with the table quality for out backyard fun.

This is the BEST ping pong table. We had it outdoor at a short term rental vacation property and it has held up fabulously! We also have one in our home. Easy to put up and fold down out of the way! We made a product video to show up close.

We received this product from Amazon, and we are really pleased with how the whole process happened. Shipping company Amazon used was great, they communicated what was happening excellently. The driver contacted us day before, and everything went super smoothly. The table arrived in its manufacturer shipping container. I was very impressed with how well the shipping container was constructed. It had structural elements inside to ensure the product was properly protected. It arrived in flawless condition. Assembly was very easy, basically, attach the wheel trucks with the bolts and brackets. A second person is definitely recommended to help lift. It was not overly heavy, but the table surface is large. Overall quality of the the table is great. I was not sure what to expect from an aluminum composite table, but the bounce is exactly as it should be compared to the other tables I have played on. All in all, I give this product 5 stars each for 3 aspects; 1) ease of ordering a large item like this, 2) ease of delivery, and 3) overall quality of the product. We love this table, and we are confident that it will bring us a lifetime of use. Side notes: We plan on using this table indoors. We live in Florida, and due to the humidity, we felt that a typical MDF construction table would tend to warp. We also plan on using this table as a main dining room table. It is super large, and the wheel trucks and support legs are recessed enough to allow people to sit around it. We will put a table pad on top, and a table cloth over it. It will make a beautiful table to entertain with. However, we also will be careful to not put excessively heavy items on it either, as its primary purpose is a ping pong table!

Picked up the Joola Nova DX table for my twin teenage sons for Christmas, and they love it, braving the crazy arctic weather we've been having to play out on the deck every day. :) It was nice to be able to schedule the delivery date/time, and the delivery guys showed up right on time. The table comes in one large, flat box that is heavy, but two adults can carry it for short distances. The delivery guys used a dolly to get it up my long driveway and then carried it up the steps to the house. Assembly was simple--8 bolts. 5 minutes with a socket wrench and a wrench is all it took. The assembled table is in two halves, which makes moving it easy. The wheels are oversized and heavy-duty and look to be well designed for long life. The two legs at each end of the table are height-adjustable, a great feature for an outdoor table. The playing surface is a composite that appears to be impervious to weather. The table plays fast and true, which my sons like. This is a serious table that looks like it will last for a long, long time. Picked up the Kettler Heavy-Duty Weatherproof Cover to help extend the table's life and to keep it clean when it's not in use. Cover fits great and can be thrown over the folded table in seconds.

first let me say this review is how I feel right now it could go to to 5 stars or remain there depending on what and how fast Joola takes care of problem. Set up was easy, table looks strong and very playable delivery by amazon was very fast and the packaging was great, not the cheap cardboard box. The problem is the casters. after assembling it was put in place on concrete in my backyard under a huge deck. After trying to level I realize the deck is not level, not the tables fault, I decided to buy a 1" x 4" x 8' piece of treated wood to screw into the concrete that worked very well and we started playing. All is great but not so fast being the weather in northern N.J. has foretasted heavy rain for a week straight I decided to move the table to the side of the deck that no rain fail on, but when doing so 2 caster split apart just plain broke in half. These casters are nowhere to be found home depot ,lowes, ace, so the only replacement is call Joola but they have no hours on the weekend. So I will call Monday and see what they do and how long it will take to get new ones. Rolling off a one inch piece of wood should not break a caster now I worry about the other six casters. maybe it is just a freak accident I should know soon and update with results.

The table was delivered June 30 and when I went to assemble it using the parts and manual there was a problem with figure wheel/leg assembly. The nuts, washers and bolts with plates did not tighten properly as shown in the photo. I contacted Amazon who put me in touch with Joola. I explained the issue and asked if there was a tool I was supposed to use to tighten the nut and bolt so that they were secure. They said no you just have to twist it. I sent photos and videos of the problem and they sent me replacement parts. A week later I received the same exact parts with the same problem. At this point I asked for outside help and was told I would need a socket wrench to tighten this particular bolt. Once the socket wrench was used the legs were assembled correctly. The manual needs to indicate that this tool is needed in both the front page and in the manual. Joola support should also be aware of how the table needs to be assembled as if someone had told me this on June 30 I could have used the table on the day of delivery. You should also be aware that the table is in two separate parts that pull apart and can be stacked standing together so make sure you flooring is level with no dips or bumps. Other than that the table seems great and a good deal for the price.

I love this table. You can easily fold it and roll it around. I roll it in front of my house and I play with my neighbors or the family. Love the table. I was able to assemble it by myself but I had to use the help of my wife to clip the central articulation. So maybe one to do most of the job and have somebody just to help stabilize the table while you clip it at one point. The table is very sturdy when we play on the street. Good choice and good price.

High value for your money

Table arrived in perfect condition within expected time. This table is easy to assemble and a pleasure to play on. Net clamps could be a bit more sturdy. But otherwise, an excellent investment for its category. If you're a beginner, purchase this table first, rather than a less expensive one. Rather than becoming discouraged due to a flimsy, or poor quality table, this table, will inspire you to continue playing, and thus improving one's skills and dedication to the sport. Ping Pong is a wonderful NON-body contact sport, which will enhance your eye-hand coordination, as well as contribute to overall body agility, flexibility and strength. A great table for a fabulous sport! Recommended.

This is a great table. It was very easy to set up, I did it myself in about 20 minutes. It folds up very easily and is not difficult to move around. The net does a pretty good job of keeping the table from coming apart, but it would be nice to be able to lock the 2 sides together. At this price it is a 5 star table but I only gave it 4 as mine has a very small scratch ( about 1/2 inch) on the playing surface (see pic). This is not big enough to affect play and isn't worth the hassle of doing a return/exchange. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this table.

As promised, a quick and easy set up. I did it with two kids in about 20 minutes. Quality seems really impressive for the price and the packaging assured that it came unscathed. I really like the idea of having two separate pieces but that does sometimes result in having the table slightly uneven where it meets in the middle since our stone patio has slight variation in the rocks. Although there are adjustable feet on the end legs, the castors cannot be adjusted in height. However, this really does not affect gameplay - you aren’t buying this table to train for the olympics - but it is absolutely perfect for the kids in the backyard and to have some beers and laughs with friends. (Eventually) Can’t comment on the weatherproofing yet - we’ll see how it holds up!
