Old-school Still Works
Look at all the make and models of automobiles that are being stolen and research the methods of how they are doing this. They have devices that can scan keyless remotes, Garage door openers, there are scanners that can read your CC # Through your purse or billfold, where do you place you keys. 7 out 10 place them either on a hook or a bowl close to the front door. They can be standing outside your front door while your asleep and scan through the door to capture the code signal. Then they simply take it back to wherever and encode a blank with your code.. now they can steel it any time they choose.BUT IF YOU HAD ONE OF THESE ON YOUR STEERING WHEEL THEY AIN'T GOING NO WHERE VERY FAR OR QUIETLY FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. AND EVEN AFER BREAKING THE WINDOW AND HOT WIRING IT.THE WHEEL IS STILL LOCKED INTO ONE POSITION. WELL MADE. BOTH WIFE AND I HAVE ONE NOW THIS IS A GIFTGREAT PRICE, EASY TO USE AND IT REALLY WORKS.

Works great
Got this for around $22 and it works great. It feels solid and not cheap at all. It's heavy and locks right onto my steering wheel. I like the color yellow that allows it to be seen to show that it's installed. The keys are cross shaped, thick and heavy duty. The key I tried messing with the lock and it seems pretty solid and unable to be opened by any other key. I recently went from Texas to Nashville, DC, Philly, NYC and Niagra falls and back and this thing deterred in those places. I'm sure it'll work for you. Again, nothing is 100% impenetrable but this may deter them.

Looks like it works well on my 2024 Hyundai Sonata
The key looks hard to pick being an X type. The shaft with barbs is decent steel, not soft. The entire part that should contact your steering wheel has thick soft plastic covering it. Bright yellow color for the one I bought. 3 keys total. I won't say that nobody could pry it off but I will say that on my car the horn will be going off until they manage to pry it off which should be disconcerting, I know this because I will put it on so tight that the horn beeps on me when I put it on, which since it's my car, doesn't worry me. You don't need a key to put it on if it's totally collapsed, but need the key if it extended itself when you had it off the wheel. It's pretty quick and easy to use, I kick myself the couple of times I didn't take 10 seconds to put it on. I will update this if I run into any problems but I don't expect I will. Cartman is actually a name I recognized from long ago, they are a name brand. If I had a steering wheel with thin spokes, I would buy one that had Two hooks, that could go on either side of the thin spoke. Not even considering the bargain price, I think this one will work as well or better than others on the market, some of which have pot metal in their construction but cost more. I would give 4.5 stars overall if I could.

Proper club positioning for anti-theft
The media could not be loaded. When placed properly this yellow club would be hard to beat short of cutting off the steering wheel.Putting this club on in reverse with the longest part facing the window is the most efficient method of use. The lock is the weakest part on any club device. With the lock facing the dashboard it would be extremely hard to drill out. And with the longest part of the club being about one inch from the driver side window the steering wheel can only be moved a few inches in either direction.FYI: If putting the club on as pictured just make sure the longer part does not touch the driver side window. Otherwise there is a good chance you will break the glass when you get out and shut the door. I would aim for a 1-2 inch clearance.Everytime you put the club on make sure you have at least a finger's worth of clearance between the club and the glass AND that you don't hit the steering wheel on your way out of the car. If for some reason your vehicle doesn't have enough clearance then obviously don't put it on this way. There are many different ways to put on a club but this method restricts steering wheel movement the most. Regardless of how you decide to put this club on your vehicle the most important part is to have the lock mechanism facing away from you.*This club is also a useful tool to have in your car if you needed to break a window.

Easily does exactly what it is supposed to do
I purchased a steering wheel lock & it would not open, close, or lock easily. Took it back. The 2nd lock that I purchased had 4 arms - not 2 as pictured. It would not fit my small steering wheel. This product is exactly what it should be. Easy to open. Easy to deploy. Easy to lock & unlock. Smooth operating. Can be used on any steering wheel - even sporty cars with small steering wheels. A good value for a fair price.

Nice quality heavy duty steering wheel lock...
Nice quality heavy duty steering wheel lock. Stronger construction (and heavier) than typical steering wheel lock. Overkill for my 2013 Camry, but why not.

Does the job, slightly overcomplicated
Works well -- key mechanism gets in the way a little, you have to figure out which way to orient the device so it won't hit the horn. Also, the keys are overcomplicated and require you to align them to a red dot, so they will only go in when the cross-shaped key is aligned perfectly.
