will make your pond clear better than all the others and helps your fish too
My fish were lethargic after a winter with no food and no pond maintenance. A week of doses of this stuff and the fish were tearing it up and the water was crystal clear. Start each spring with this and the rest of the year will be fine.

Wonderful, use caution with dosage
Fantastic product, my sick fish is getting better every day. Due to having to treat the whole pond . Use caution with measuring dosage. It is a very small amount. My pond is only 10,000 gallons. Use caution. But it works great. The other fish are not bothered by the treatment.

Best bang for the buck and all natural.
Don't be fooled the Melafix professional strength is the same as the pond version but for $10 more. Melafic has been my natural go to for years. It works. Raise the water temp, make the recommended water changes, and keep dosing. Catch issues early while your fish still has some fight in it and you will br good to go.

Glad to find this!!
I have a 5000 gallon koi pond. This is not enough medicine for my pond. I would need about 5 of these and at the price for this one bottle, I find it very expensive. However, I understand this is being taken off the market so I guess I will put any sick fish in a stockyard watering tub to treat any sick fish in the future. And I am very happy to find this product at all. Wish I could afford what I really need.

This product works great. Cures injured fish.
A friend of mine sells Mellaluca products, so when I saw that API had a Mellaluca product for pond fish, I purchased a bottle to keep on hand for "just-in-case". Sure enough, this spring one of my older Koi was injured when a blind English Mastiff misjudged their proximity to the pond and fell in (she was rescued quickly as we were very close by). The next morning I saw a half-dollar size wound on my Koi. I grabbed this bottle and read the directions and treated the entire pond in case there was more than one injury. Within 7 days, the Koi was completely healed and looks great. This is a great product for pond- and fish-keepers.

My Go-To โFish Tylenolโ โ A Must-Have for Any Fish Keeper!
My Go-To โFish Tylenolโ โ A Must-Have for Any Fish Keeper! I like to call this my โFish Tylenolโ because itโs become my go-to remedy whenever one of my fish seems a little off or under the weather. I know thatโs not its official name, but the comfort and relief it seems to provide is undeniable. With several tanks and lots of fish, occasional issues are inevitableโwhether itโs stress, minor illness, or just a rough day. This product helps ease those moments and gives my fish the TLC they deserve. Itโs gentle, effective, and has made a noticeable difference in their recovery and overall well-being. I bought the large size because I use it regularly and want to make sure I always have it on hand. If you care deeply about your fish and want to support them when they need a little help, I canโt recommend this enough!

It is effective.
It cures a verity of pound diseases, This product has been around for a long time. I had fin rot a winter disease that killed my prize Koi. I treated the pound for seven days and saved the remaining fish. It has a very mild smell not unpleasant and does not change water color. The 64 once size is the best buy for the money. I had about a quarter bottle left over after treating a 22x 12 pound. It is easy to use you have to remove any carbon filters but I do not have them just measure and dump it in.

I was shorted
This is a great product I have been using in my pond every spring, as I have found that is when the fish need a bit of treatment for minor wounds, possibly due to winter stress. It works great and smells nice to boot, but when I ordered this large 64 oz bottle, they sent me four smaller bottles that totalled 63 oz. It also involved a LOT more plastic, as the smaller bottles use more plastic, plus they were wrapped by two in plastic and then the two sets were taped together with plastic tape. I was not impressed.

Made my fish healthier and happier.
I read couple of reviews from people who said that this product killed their fish. I am not going to deny the fact that I was a bit reluctant to buy it because of that. However, I also read about articles about the ingredients of this product and that it helps the fish. My fish have been suffering from fin rot and bacterial infections as I was stupid enough to put new bought guppies into the maintank without treating or quarantining the fish first. As a consequent to my actions, fishes in my whole tank suffered because of it and I lost some of them due to these conditions. Now, this was several months ago which was treated with medication. I noticed my remaining fish to be hanging around the bottom or on top, which alarmed me, only to find one of my platy balooning up and dying, again due to an internal parasite/bacteria. I found this product and still wanted to go ahead and buy it despite the few negative reviews that claimed to have killed their fish. Now, my guess is that those fishes may have suffered great deal already and were going to die anyway or people who claim their fishes died did not follow the instructions properly - it may have been caused by something else as well I do not know. I am using this product on both aquarium and pond fish. Please ensure you are deluting the right amount of this product into the water! Get your calculator out and calculate for the actual amount you need to use for the size of your tank. I have some syringes which i use to measure and release into the water. I don't know if it makes any difference but I am releasing the product slowly to let it spread around slowly. I am only using it once after water changes, and my god, my fishes have been more active than they have ever been. They are happy, they are swimming and they are all eating.. none of them are hiding anymore. Same goes for my pond fish! I did not bave any probpems and I am very impressed overall. I will be contiuing to use it after every water change as it seems to be keeping my fish happy.

Efficient
Bought for AQUARIUM use. After the higher concentration was calculated, it works same as the aquarium variety, but for about 1/4 the cost!!! Very good!

working with Moving bed pond Filters
Hi There I have used this to treat my pond but have come across an issue that I think you should know about with regards to moving bed filters on ponds which use K1 media. I have been running a new K1 filter system which is settling in. I have been running this filter system alongside my old filter system for a 1500 gallon Koi pod. The K1 and K3 that I have been using in the new filter system had settled in after 3-4 weeks and I had a good turn over of the media without it floating on the surface water of the filter boxes which meant the bacteria had started to establish itself. I had one fish in the pond who had a sore which I decided to treat in the pond with Melafix. I calculated the dosage for the pond and applied it. But every time I dosed the pond my K1 in the filter box became boyent again and started to float and over spill the filter box. At first I thought I had added to much media so just cleared up the media and put it to one side with some media still turning in the filter. I dosed the pond again and it happened again. I stopped dosing the pond and the media settled down again in 48 hours so I added back the media again and let it settle for 6 days. I then decided to test the Melafix again by dosing the pond again and the same thing happen again over night. So I can confirm that the Melafix seems to be whipping off/clearing My K1 media of bacteria. The product itself seems good and I saw improvements in the fish I was treating but I would strongly recommend taking the fish out of the pond and treating in an isolation tank if you are using a moving bed filter system that is using k1 media which is just establishing itself with bacteria. Not sure if the treatment would wipe out the bacteria on a fully established K1 moving bed filtration system. There is nothing on the bottle that inform you of this apart from turning off UV's and avoid running carbon filters when using this treatment. I would recommend you test the treatment using a moving bed filtration system which uses K1 which is moved using air rather than water flow.
