No the large brush I was looking for.
This is an OK brush. I should have paid more attention to the measurements. It is smaller than their last brush I ordered.

Boar bristles with a nice faux banded badger look
Great beginner brush. Only 2 lost bristles. And I was extra rough with it. No break in needed. Ready to use. Leave in a bowl of hot water is the only prep you need. About two minutes or so. It's soft and gentle yet you really feel it exfoliate the skin. Even on my 5 day hair growth. The bristles lift the whiskers up like a champ. Boar bristle brushes are growing on me.

My Grandfather use to have one a lot like this and I wanted to get a Shaving brush for him because he always uses soap an can lather it up! Thanks! Great quality!

Boars are misunderstood. Best brushes for the money.
Love Omega boars. I have a big collection of brushes of all types. None beats my well-used Omega boar. Give it time for the tips to split, soak it a little. Just the right amount of flex, soft on the face, and lathers a ton. Don't need to fool around with brushes costing many times more. I DO wish the handle was a little heavier. Small matter...they do make some with nicer, heavier handles. The bristles make the shave.
