Real workhorse.
Fit in the bed of my 89 GMC with no problems. Stronger and well made and the price was a steal.

Easy to assemble and use!
I was able to assemble this hitch in about 20 minutes, very easy to read instructions, and simple but sturdy design. I haul a 35 foot 5th wheel RV and it functions flawlessly for hookup, towing, and unhooking. We were evacuated because of a wildfire, and I was able to pull.in my slide-outs, hook up and be on the road in about 20 minutes.

BEST VALUE FOR THE PRICE
We had it professionally installed in the 2007 Dodge Ram 2500. It does work as described. Just need to caution that if the trailer is at any sort of odd angle, even slightly, it will bind and not release. Even with the 4 way tilt, that tilt is not quite enough. Also be assured that if you are pulling with a short box, be sure to get an extender on the trailer. If you don't, the chances are that you will pop out the back window in your truck. I did that within 1 hour of hooking up. I got an extender on it now and all is well.

Shipping need improvement
This product is smaller than it looks in the picture. It arrived without the rails - had to call and have the rails delivered - then it didn't have enough bolts to put it together - so had to call again. It also arrived scratched - did not look like it was in new condition.

Possibly no need for sliding hitch.
This is not actually a review, which is the reason for the neutral rating. I'm quite sure it's a fine hitch. Some things the hitch police are not saying or are not aware of. 1. Most small and medium size 5th. wheels are now manufactured with an extended hitch on the trailer. This makes the turning radius about 88 degrees before it will hit the truck. 2. An sliding hitch is not needed in most all situations. Only if you need to jackknife the trailer. A 6.5 foot bed will allow a turn about as short as a bumper pull before the trailer hits the truck. You certainly don't need the sliding hitch to get into a parking spot in any state, national or commercial park. 3. Even with an 8 foot bed if you jackknife the trailer much past 90 degrees the fifth wheel will hit the cab of the pickup. 4. The only place I can see where jackknife is needed would be a turnaround in very tight space. 5. The sliding hitch will gain you about 10 degrees max. 6. The fifth wheel will not hit the cab while you are driving. Making a very short turn only if you are a luddite and don't pay attention. 7. If you have no experience towing. You just bought a truck and fifth wheel maybe you need the sliding hitch. But again the fifth wheel can easily hit the cab of a truck with an 8 foot bed.

My husband installed it with a mechanic friend and it was pretty straight forward and simple after watching online videos and reading the manual. It was a great price and very good quality.
