Great for making castles
My son loves to build and asked specifically for more bricks. This was a different brand than the ones he had originally, but they work great! They were easy to assemble and are very sturdy. There are extra folds that create structure at the center of the bricks as well as the perimeter. My son is obsessed!

Would recommend
Easy to put together and very sturdy. My toddler loves it when I stack the blocks high so that he can knock them down haha. It also comes packaged with the blocks wrapped in two different sets (half and half) which was nice because it let us easily set aside half of the blocks to put in storage so that we can easily replace broken blocks as needed.

Best building blocks!
Yes you have to fold these together, but it is worth it! I bought two sets and they are so much fun! The kids love them and can build so many things. My 3 and 4 year old students love the days that I bring these out and have a blast building and then tearing down. At first I wasnโt sure how I would store them exactly, they are a bit bulky, but I found a container that held them and a place under my classroom desk to store them. They are holding up very well in a pre-K classroom. Would like to buy another set or two in time so we can make a castle.

Great, but not as sturdy as the description makes you think
My first set of these blocks, I purchased for my home daycare, I want to say around 2009. They lasted through EVERYthing, including my basement space flooding. When we moved from that house in 2022, I put the remaining ones (most of the original set minus a few that got damaged along the way) outside for someone to take intending on buying a new fresh set when I moved here to my new space. I purchased these in mid 2022 - and all of them were trashed, damaged or broken and put the rest put in the recycle bin by early 2026 so... 3.5 years. Granted the last group I had was 5 toddler boys and they were particularly destructive. They crushed them with ease and poked holes in them. I was none too happy and had the parents reimburse me. I purchased 2 new sets and did not put them out until that group aged out this summer. Now I have a new group of kids and I'm here on Amazon purchased 4-inch-wide book tape to seal these after I build them in hopes they last longer, I came to check the measurements. So, I would recommend as long as they're on sale for a good price and you don't have a destructive group of kids or a home daycare. The kids do love playing with them and coming up with building ideas, they are colorful, decent size and amount and that's why I gave them 4 stars. But not as durable as the description makes them seem. I think the cardboard is thinner than years prior.

Sturdy Cardboard
Good quality cardboard. The flaps are a bit difficult to assemble but they make the blocks very sturdy.

A Grandmaโs House Must Have
We were given a set of these when my grandson turned one. He loved them so much I purchased a set to add to what we already had, He is almost 7 now, and he still loves and plays with these blocks. They are sturdy, and his creativity with them amazes me.

5 STARS & 5 CONS REVIEW
I am only listing cons in this review because although I LOVED these boxes when I was a kid, I HATED them for my 2 year old.. This is a 5 star review because they are exactly what I was looking for, BUT I still ended up returning them and here's why... CONS: ***Sharp corners and edges!!*** This is my main reason for returning them. First day we played with these blocks my 2yo ended up with 2 cuts VERY close to her eye from falling blocks, and a cut on the bottom for her foot after slipping off a block she was balancing on. Seemed like EVERY TIME she played with these she'd end up with a bruise or a cut. She never misused them or played recklessly with them, she'd simply stack them up & knock them down or line up & walk across the red ones. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews mentioning injuries, maybe my 2yo just needs tougher skin?? Either way, I think it ought be mentioned! (Especially since they are marketed for 2-5yo who have notably delicate skin!). **Price** Although I thought the price was fair, my husband disagreed. (He's wrong though, so nevermind him!) **Durability** Although I think these are durable enough for what purpose they serve; the description embellished a bit on HOW durable.. The red block buckled under my nephew's weight, he weighs ~80lbs. (Claims in product description that red blocks can withstand 150lbs). **Assembly** I actually had a lot of fun figuring out & folding these. My husband and I even had a race to see who could fold boxes faster (I destroyed him!) That aside, my husband was griping about the task before we had made a game of it.. so I get that people loathe these boxes after they've spent an hour folding them. **Too 'easy' to knock down** These boxes are laminated so they can be wiped down, which is great!! BUT it also makes the blocks SO slick that if you lightly bump into your structure or sneeze too hard it might cause the whole thing to collapse! [Pro-tip for anyone who 'got time for that'] After returning these, I got to thinking.. if you added some small dots of hot glue to the sides of the blocks it would make them less slick; hence, more build-able. And if you put hot glue along the seams and corners of the boxes it might also make them a little safer.
