Shrub Frostproof Gardenia 2.5 Qt, White Blooms

Absolutely healthy and beautiful! The shipping of the plant was outstanding. When I removed the plant from the box, I was happy with the care given to shipping and delivery of a beautiful plant that already had numerous flower buds ready to open. I could not have asked for a healthier plant that looks so much more than I paid for it. It's not small by any means, I've seen plants half the size cost more. I am so absolutely happy with this plant that I will definitely be ordering another one, especially at this price! If you are looking for one of these, buy, buy, buy! I will attempt to take a picture. This is fresh out of the box!

mine arrived well packaged. there were 3 blooms about to die and one bud that had not opened yet. very nice plant and time will tell.

I got a live plant that had great leaves on it and looked healthy. It’s winter here in Oklahoma and it’s in the teens, so I decided to keep it indoors until Spring. It was wet, so I didn’t water it. It felt dry the next day and I gave it a good watering. The water seems to just run right through the pot out the bottom. I kept it in the original pot. No instructions came with it! I googled on how to grow a Gardenia! Lol! Still doing good. It’s by a sunny window and off to the side so it’s not direct sunlight. Just like Google said it needed.But it is getting some of it. I waited another few days and it felt dry and I noticed a few of the leaves looking dull. I watered it just a little. Next day the soil was dry, so I watered it a little more. The leaves are now are all dried up and falling off it! I’m going to remove all the dead leaves and transplant it in a regular pot in hopes that it will grow new leaves and come back to life. It’s 10 degrees outside, so I can’t put it outdoors! I wish they would have sent instructions on how to keep it alive! Not the best start to this! Maybe a grow light would work. I had high hopes for this!

I ordered this an early April and put it in the ground. It came fast and it was very healthy. I had taken a picture of it because because I was so pleasantly surprised that it looked so good from mail order. I put it in the ground and I have blooms all over! so far it hasn’t grown in height that much but it has blooms and has not died. I’m very happy with this purchase!

The gardenia came with white flowers already in bloom … so beautiful they smelled so good. However, within a few days, the leaves and flowers started to turn yellow.. I need to know how to get it back to the original color and stop the plant from yellowing.

I was pleasantly surprised! The smell when I opened the boxes was wonderful and I was impressed at how well they arrived. I ordered 3 and they are all thriving! The picture I and sharing shows one of mine planted with another flower.

Blossoms were slightly brown on edge when received then died. Have used special nutrient additive for gardenias. Still no blossoms. Kind of disappointing as I purchased for both looks and smell. Shrubs seem healthy but no blooms.
