Does anyone see holes (1/8 in wide) in the top of the coffee puck after pulling a shot?

not on mine, means water is channeling and you need to work on your tamping technique.

Mine won’t build pressure. doesn’t work. i would like customer service #. i guess i’ll send the whole thing back. frustrating 😡

Look in the instructions manual; they have all the necessary information there. I am going through a hassle with what seems to be a bad pump. The machine is barely 6 months old, so I’m not very happy about this. I’m supposed to send the machine back to Seattle, so that’ll be at least three weeks without my espresso. I’ll keep you posted on the outcome.

can it make 2 cups of double shots simultaneously?

No single porta filer machine can make 2 double shots at once, unless you had a high end machine that accepted two porta filters, but then you are talking $$$$ commercial grade.
