Columbia Men's Discontinued PFG Bahama II Long Sleeve Shirt

I see these shirts everywhere in Florida and didn’t want to be just another middle-aged guy with this shirt. Guess what? After trying several different hot weather shirts, I was forced to admit this shirt is perfect for the hot, humid weather here. They are light, comfortable, and versatile. They are well made and come in at a reasonable price point for the quality. I also tried the Tamiami II, but I find I prefer the slightly stiffer fabric of the Bahama II. It is still feather light and cool, but feels better against my skin. In order the long sleeves as I often need to protect my arms from the sun. The easy-to-use safari straps in the sleeves work well to quickly convert them to short sleeves. They are full cut - you may need to order a size smaller, but I enjoy the loose fit. I tried competitor Kühl shirts, but they are all sized for long distance runners under 30. I am not *that* overweight, but this shirt is just perfect for my needs. Yeah, I am now just another guy with a Columbia PFG shirt, and I see why they are so popular. I surrender.

Excellent quality fabric. These look good and are very comfortable. I use it mostly as a sun shirt to protect my geezer arms. A little late, you know….cow—barn door, etc. I’ve had a couple of these from 20 years ago and they still look and feel great. Like everything, you can find a cheaper one that will be ok. Just ok. These are a good example of spend the money and cry once. I got both the gray and the light blue. Very classy. Lots of pockets for fisher people. Even if you don’t catch anything, you’ll still look good. Recommended.

My father in law swears by these. He's done road construction for quite a long time and wears one every day of the the week. The large size fit him well. The material is perfect for working in the hot sun and is light and breathable. They stay soft and keep him cool and dont look wrinked after a normal wash and dry.

I am a fair skinned guy and love to be outdoors. My concern is not getting too much sun as skin cancer runs in my family. I bought these shirts hoping to find something light weight and comfortable for those sunny days either at work or play. They did not disappoint, they are lite weight and cool providing the perfect amount of UV protection that allows me to stay out doors all day and not burn up no matter what the task is. One other thing I like about them is the lack of sweat circles that you get with most other shirts like this. I've gotten it totally soaked in the river and it dried quickly, I've also used it mowing grass and had plenty of sweat but you could not tell just by looking at the material. I will be buying more but I will wait for them to go on sell again. The only con I have so far is the price. Some of these shirts cost $55 plus. I wait for them to drop below $30 before I think about buying. If you keep you eyes open on amazon you can find those close out deals periodically.

Great design, nice pockets, and fits to size. It’s extremely hot for me, pure nylon, and Not good for hot weather because it holds in the heat. I have the Columbia pants and they are my favorite travel pants because they are light weight and cool. I expected the same from the shirt. I wore this shirt on a hot day and it roasted me. Did not realize it was pure nylon and At least for me, it did not breath well. Seemed to hold in the heat. I will wash it before wearing again to see if there is any improvement.

My husband loves his ColumbiaPFG Fishing shirts. He owns several. He wears these in Mexico. Great for hot weather needing sun protection.

I bought a red version of this same shirt years ago, not a thing wrong with it. I wanted one in Blue, so ordered it again. Super quality, precise fit, and looks awesome! Couldn't be happier.

I buy one of these a month. They are super comfortable and durable. They keep the heat off and are breathable.

Buen ajuste en general, la tela bastante fresca y seca rápido. Para una persona alta quizás un poco corto, sin embargo alcanza lo suficiente para acomodarse dentro del pantalón, pero considero que es mejor usarla por fuera por la comodidad en amplitud. En efecto vienen amplias por lo que recomiendo pedir una talla menos de lo habitual.
