Great product!
This is a great hair color, I purchased it multiple times. Fades out true to tone, and keeps my hair soft and style able. The color is incredible!!

It works, consistent color deposit, doesn’t fade easily over time. We experimented and use a trio of colors to cover gray and achieve a dark blonde kinda ashy shade; with 20 volume developer and 50 minute dwell time. 9NNG, 9AA, 8AA. We use a Framar paint brush to apply to roots and then brush through with Olivia’s Garden Color Blending brush to blend the edges. 👍🏻 Amazon has consistent, reliable delivery of these quality products. Recommend and satisfied ✅ ✅ ✅

Nice dye that doesn't over dry my hair
I like this hair dye, it doesn't make my head itch, and the color seems not to fade as quickly as other brands. It's always a little darker the first week, but that's just because I just did the dye. Then it fades slowly and nicely. My hair is still soft and not dried out either. I will buy again.

Great color and covers the silver coming in!
As the title states; this is a great light ash blonde and covers up my silver (not grey, grey is dull mine shines like silver). It doesn't have a strong odor. I've been purchasing this brand for several years and have colored my dirty blonde for 30+ years after getting tired of the sun bleach blonde it gets every summer. I know color, basically they're all the basic same ingredients then companies add there own extras such as biotin etc. This brand keeps my hair in great condition, doesn't cause breakage or overly dry hair. That being said, I also don't do my ends every time, over process etc., and I regularly condition my hair. I also maintain the color. People complain about the color fading, unfortunately colored hair no matter the color requires maintenance, its just a fact and no fault of this brand. If you want to color your hair for whatever reason; it WILL require maintenance. If you don't want the hassle don't color it! People need to have realistic expectations and understand hair color is not a one and done. Everything, everyday life affects the outcome of how long your color will last and the shade outcome. This particular shade will eventually lose its a ash color turning a bit more golden/beige blonde due to washing my hair being out in the sun etc. even using a sulfate free shampoo so I, as anyone should maintain the beautiful color with a toner for maintaining that ash blonde color. Also, be aware not only do you have to do regular maintenance you also have to be aware: 1. Everyone's hair is different (same molecular structure) but different everyday factors, past treatments, environmental and personal care as well as texture. As such, 2. Not everyone will get the exact shade "as seen" in the pictures. Dark hair vs. a lighter hair to start out with and your processing now and prior, computer screens displaying colors slightly different etc. Don't expect your results to be exactly the same, especially if you're not familiar with this shade and/or color processing. So, yes I highly recommend this brand, especially if you have older, grey or silver cover up needs! Just be realistic in your particular outcome and that colored hair requires maintenance and you will like this hair color brand!

Reds are beautiful but accuracy is a problem.
My natural color is a very, very light strawberry/reddish blonde, often mistaken for blonde or red, depending on lighting. I've been coloring for a couple of years. Based on my roots, I think I'm starting to grey. Blue eyes, cool fair skin, some freckles. The following are different shades that I've tried and my experience. 7RC - This is where my journey began. After an unfortunate temporary blue color that wasn't fully washing out, and an even more unfortunate interaction with Nice n Easy red, I was advised to use Schwarzkopf bond enforcing color remover, followed by a good quality level 7 red. This was quite pretty and true to the box on day one. Being new to red hair color, I took a hot shower on day two or three and my hair faded to orange. It was the first time I colored after using the color remover, so I hadn't built up a good base red, that might account for the dramatic change. I used 7RC for a few months and the color became darker and more saturated, a little better on the fading front (with a lot of care), but I always felt like a clown, it was just too red, too vibrant. 6RC - So I started mixing 7RC and 6RC 50/50 and that toned down the clown red, but it still was too vibrant. So then I did strictly 6RC for a year or more. It always came out crazy dark, like mahogany, reddish dark brown, but I could wash using normal temperature water and it would gradually fade to the prettiest copper. This was the color where I got compliments almost daily, whether it was dark or faded. Eventually I grew tiredof the dark and wanted to achieve that pretty copper on day one, not three weeks in 😄 8RC - So I used the color remover on my 6RC hair and used 8 RC color for a few months. It was coppery, it looked more natural and closer to the color on the box. It just wasn't very flattering on my cool, fair skin that flushes red easily. Much like my natural color, it also looked very different depending on lighting, and could look too vibrant at times. 7NRG - Around this time I saw the neutral reds for the first time. I thought this might be more flattering with my cool skin and eyes. It came out crazy dark, darker than 6RC, which comes out crazy dark. My hair looked dark brown. I had to be in the sun to show red, and it is much more resistant to fadng than the RC colors, though it has faded a bit, I still don't like how dark red/blackish brown the lengths are. I also don't love the condition my hair is in. Because of how much red fades, you have to recolor the lengths every month too. My wavy curls are now just sad waves, my once thick healthy hair feels dry and thin. Ive been using K18 a few times a month and heavily moisturizing products, and occasionally a bit of protein. I don't use the hair dryer too often. Now, I am aging, and I do have health conditions and medications that couldbe a factor, but I think that permanent color every month (my hair grows fast) may be adding to my problems. Currently trying to figure out where to go from here. I'm experimenting with Keracolor Clenditioner in Autumn, not sure it's sticking to my roots though... I have been very happy with Age Beautiful coverage. Reds are difficult and require a ton of upkeep, it's a known problem. 😕

Longer gray coverage
I was skeptical of buying a different brand of color for gray coverage. I usually use Revlon or Clairol. But I can definitely say it covered my gray longer than these other two brands. I bought the developer and applicator set up separately, so I still have multiple applications left in this one tube, so it is saving me money too. I have med-long length hair.

Good color, but drying
I wanted a terracotta color on the neutral to warm side, so went with the 7 RGN (red golden neutral blonde). I used level 20 developer from the same brand. My hair is naturally a level 6. I've dyed my hair plenty in the past, and that's been since grown out and cut off, so it was fully virgin hair at the time of coloring. My hair is thick and wavy with some curls, layered, about to my shoulder blades. The consistency is good and easy to apply using bowl and brush without splashing anywhere. I'm sensitive to fragrance and this didn't give me a headache. I applied and let sit for 30 minutes before rinsing and conditioning. It took 3 shampoos to get the water to run clear. I didn't buy enough for my length of hair, so some areas came out spotty, which was my own fault. I think it covered well given the application I did. The parts where I ran out are in the under layers, so not super visible anyway. I'll buy more next time. I have a white streak in my under layers, and it does seem to have worked on those. My white hair tends to be resistant to color if I'm only using a level 10. The level 20 worked out just right. The results were shocking at first. Way more dark than expected, and much closer to a burgundy or mahogany color, on the cool side. At first I was disappointed, but wanted to see how it would look after a few washes before reviewing. I shampoo every night, so within a few days my hair was looking the lighter, warmer color I expected, and I'm super happy with it. As for the condition it leaves my hair, well, it fried mine at first. My shiny soft waves and curls had turned to straight, dull, dry, frizzy straw, and I was sure I had ruined my hair. But after a few nights of deep conditioning, a round of olaplex, and the excess color slowly rinsing away, my hair texture has returned to it's former glory with only the slight amount of damage expected from using a level 20 developer. I'm not sure why people are saying it doesn't damage hair. I think the developer is responsible for damage. Maybe they're using a level 10 developer and getting no damage. Maybe what damage I experienced is from the level 20 developer and nothing to do with the hair color. I can't say for sure. You'll definitely want to have some good conditioner on hand directly after rinsing this in any case. I'll use it again, though I might go for level 8 next time. It's only been 11 days, so I'll update if anything notable happens.

No developer- what a useless product!
Why sell something that you can’t use whithout the other bit! Who sells developer separate to hair color! Seriously. Talk about making life difficult ….
