I'm a 38in chest I usually wear a med but your size chart says that I should be an xl what would I do?

Definitely err on the side of "bigger is not better" when it comes to these...I normally wear a size L in just t-shirts,cetc.,...with a 38" chest, and normally you wear a M...if I were you, I'd stick with M or L...the material is very stretchy and you don't want this sagging you. If you comfortable in close, tight fitting shirts (which with the padding is what you want) stick with M. Enjoy!

How do you clean this shirt?

The padding is removable and easy to reposition. Simply remove the pads, machine wash warm. Tumble dry (on low if you can) and replace the pads when done.

I would like to wear this under a polo shirt but the sleeves stick way out. Is there a size that works with a polo?

I took out the biceps abs triceps and I cut the shirt off and made the sleeve shorter

What is the approximate increase, in inches, to the chest and arm measurement? Too much is also not good.

It adds several inches to chest but I think it looks fairly natural.
