I would guess that I had over 90% sprouting rate. The seeds were eager to sprout. I set them in Miracle Grow potting mix which I sifted through a FINE mesh. I kept the seeds moist and warm (never under 70 here in Tucson, AZ. THE SEEDS NEARLY ALL SPROUTED IN 3 DAYS FLAT.

So far so good. Very small right now but easy to start. Excited to see it in one year.

They are growing by the day! They do work!!! Keep them moist and warm, these baby saguaros are growing by the day.

Don't use the soil disk it comes with. I sprouted my seeds in a papertowel and it worked just fine. I still have some seeds reserved for later. 90% germination rate and I have at least 20 baby saguaros that are doing fantastic! Be warned, though, they're extremely slow-growers.

This seed pack was wonderful. Almost all the small seeds sprouted, so now I have several saguaros growing. Would be nice to have the same amount of seeds over two moss discs, so the little seedlings can have more space and be separated to plant them in individual pots. Now I'm afraid to break the roots if I try to separate them.

I planted some of the seeds and I have several baby cactus growing now! I can't wait to see how they do as they get older. I probably won't be alive to see them get very big but hopefully my grand daughter will be as excited to have them and I am!

I did not like the fact that none of the seeds germinated and I grow plants all the time not one grew from that entire package. It's a shame. I was very interested in this type of cactus and it failed in my expectations.

This is a great kit to get started with growing saguaros. Every seed in the pack germinated. It has been a year since I planted the seeds and all of the cacti are still going strong and healthy.
