One K One K Unisex Defender Protective Riding Helmet, Black Matte

I cannot recommend this helmet enough. It has protected and kept my head uninjured in two very dangerous falls. In March 2020 I got bucked off and hit my head quite hard on the ground, I also broke my wrist as a result. Thankfully, I walked away with my head in place uninjured, the helmet DIDN'T EVEN DENT. My second fall came in August 2020 at Wellington when my horses' two front legs fells through an oxer, I flipped over his head and fell on my back onto the jump. Again, I hit the back of my head on the floor. I walked away unscaved and very thankful to my helmet, which was still intact. These two falls had a lot of potential to be extremely damaging to my head - I am beyond thankful I had this helmet and will continue to buy One Ks! This helmet is also very comfortable, fits well, has AWESOME ventilation (a must if you ride in the heat yearly) and has a sleek design.

Decent quality.

I love this helmet! I should note that I returned my original purchase for a smaller size & opted for the suede version, but it's the same model. The helmet is very comfortable, light weight, and so much more flattering than my previous helmets. The leather (I think it's leather) straps are much more comfortable & streamlined than the clunky canvas ones I'm used to. I have a round face, and the placement of the straps is actually very slimming and more comfortable on my face/chin. I haven't fallen off and hit my head while wearing it, but my previous Ovation helmets have offered excellent protection in the past when I have, and I assume this helmet made by the same company should be no different.

Helmet is just what I expected. Selling took a long time to get it to me, but it was also the holiday season. Helmet is very comfortable and high quality.

Bought this to replace a Samshield and was skeptical because it was 1/2 the price. Pleasantly surprised. Looks great. Fits my head better than the Samshield. Great ventilation. Will buy again

The first helmet arrived quickly and in good condition, but it was a size small, not large as I ordered. I ordered a replacement, noting it was the wrong size and again received a small helmet. I sent both back. The boxes were mislabeled with a small sticker on the side as size large (shown in photo).

Great helmet -- stylish, comfortable and not too hot. However, the faux suede harness bleeds really badly and after each ride my face is stained deep black on both sides.
