Essential Light Tamer for Studio Sessions
Dug into this kit for my home video setup, clipping the ND3 and ND6 sheets over LED panels to dial down glare on talking-head shoots without cranking ISO. At 16x20", they're oversized for easy trimming to fit barn doors or diffusers—ND9 crushed harsh afternoon sun through windows for buttery 4K footage. Polyester sheets are heat-resistant up to 200°F, no melting on hot lights, and the included clips held firm without slippage. Pros: Versatile strengths (1-3 stops) for quick swaps; matte black edges kill stray reflections; budget pack (3 sheets) covers multiple rigs. No color cast—keeps whites pure for editing bliss. Cons: Thin material tears if you're rough trimming; wish for a storage envelope to prevent creases. Verdict: If you're battling overexposed studio vids on a dime, this kit's your hero. Smoothed my product reviews from chaotic to pro—grab it for any aspiring cinematographer.

Inexpensive, thin plastic ND filter sheets. Worked for me.
I need to cut the light to a WebCam from extremely bright lights for some streaming purposes and these plastic neutral identity filters did the trick. I was able to cut a few pieces into the right shape and attach them to the WebCam and they completely knocked down the glare and over brightness of the LED lights.

served my purpose
I ordered these sheets to dim a too-bright clock in our bedroom. They worked, although not quite as expected. It took two layers of the ND9 film to dim the light enough, even on that light's lowest setting. The sheets themselves are quite thin and flimsy and it was not easy to cut them in a straight line with scissors or to get them to lie flat on the surface of the clock. An adhesive film might have worked better but I did not want to get glue on the clock face. At least I now have a generous supply of neutral density filter sheet for other projects.

Lighting gel, not optical grade
I dimmed some LED halogen replacement bulbs that were insanely bright. The gels work well. Some shrinking and hazing where the beam is hottest. But I recall similar gels doing the same thing when used with really hot incandescent spotlights. I'm not worried. There is enough material to replace my handiwork 10X too.

Not really a gel, very flimsy film
I got this thinking it would be a thick card-like lighting gel but it’s more like window tint film. Incredibly thin and fragile and it ships in a roll which makes it unpleasant to use since it’s pre-curled. I’d avoid.

These are not ND3 , ND6 , ND9 filters
A filter with ND1 transmits 10% of the incoming light. (ND 1 means 10^-1) So a filter with ND3 would transmit only 1/1000 (or 0.1%) of the incoming light. The filters I received transmit far more light. So I think they are just labelled wrong. They have ND 0.3 , ND 0.6 , ND 0.9

As Expected
The product delivered is what I expected. They work reasonably well for their purpose. I did not fuss overmuch about whether light transmission matches stated amounts or color cast. Not at this price point. They aren’t excessively thin or fragile, but they also aren’t so durable that they won’t take on damage from careless handling. I used them to dim a light panel for application as a flats panel in astrophotography.

It’s useable, but it so thin it look like silk paper, ruffled…

All three pieces arrive in a roll and need to be laid out to flatten. All sheets have a slightly green tint. They work as ND filter should.

First shipment had been damaged in manufacturing and was unusable. The supplier responded by shipping the product a second time. It was also damaged in manufacturing and unusable. I am not at all impressed, and have given up. I would not recommend wasting your money on this product.
