Do the internal ice packs cover the entire foot top and sides?

It's a slipper you don't put in any ice pack just put in freezer. Slip the slipper on and every part of it is cold so you can see where it covers your foot. that is where it is cold. Top part covers my whole top of foot and sides the back portion covers the bottoms.

Can you leave in freezer for more than 2 hours ?

Yes, I use mine once a day and the rest of the time they're in the freezer
