Tae Keuk Stick-On Moxa Cone

I purchased this Moxa pack after a visit to my acupuncturist who uses Moxa. This was simply one of the cheaper ones that I first found so I decided to try it. They seem to work at getting me relaxed; I just put a couple on my belly (for targeted gut relief as well), lay back on the couch in a quiet room or use soothing sounds, and you're good- for the few minutes that these things burn for...It comes in a little box and everything's written in Korean. It includes a little accu-point body chart that tells you where to place them on the body for desired effect- but it's in Korean also, and so is useless to me (would have been nice to use).It says 200/box, but I only count 9 little pads that each holds 21 moxa cones= 189. No biggie though, this little box seems to last forever.The adhesive on the back of the cones does not stick so well to my skin/hairy belly, even if I push the hairs aside.They do get pretty warm on your skin due to the center hole in the base that allows heat through; but nothing too bad.It comes with two small sheets of adhesive back metal film dots 20x2, which I'm not sure of the use of; maybe to block the base's center hole to keep skin from getting hot...?I often just place a couple on the counter and burn them as incense. Note that my wife walked in and thought that I was smoking weed from the smell, but I don't think they have that smell; but who knows what they put in this stuff, lol?!They only burn for a couple of minutes, which is a downer. I will look for something that burns longer once I finally use up this whole box.

This review would have received a perfect 5 except for the following issues:1) The packaging was poor so the product was damaged. Luckily it was only a handful of the them that couldn't be used. Also, there are some 250 of them so it wasn't a large loss.2) The product comes with these skin stickers to attach the product onto as to prevent direct heat to the skin. Unfortunately, there isnt alot so you have to reuse them or you run the risk of burning your skin.

Easy to use. Light smoke, strong smell while burning.

These are excellent for my clinical acupuncture practice and also for sending home self care moxa for patients since they are so easy to use and actually quite effective.

I always wanted to try these. They are amazing but only use them if you know what you are doing or you can really hurt yourself

Watch out! You will bur yourself if you don't use the "backing". They won't credit you if you complain!I have used other brands before and I never burned myself.
