Awesome and Fun
I love the idea of little Katy getting 'into' the paintings. The illustrations are so awesome and the story so fun. I gave this to my granddaughter who is interested in art.

Katie and the British Artists
My 7-year-old daughter loves the Katie books. We are slowly collecting them and she really enjoys them. I love that they are teaching her about real works of art that she will hopefully see in museums one day. These are a great homeschool supplement.

Bigger than the original books
This is a beautiful book and the improvements they made on this book look great! Mostly, the cover is different and it's a bigger size than the original book, but I think it's great because the pictures are so beautiful. I would recommend it!

wonderful for girls -- especially those named Katie!
My niece, Katie, can't get enough of these books. She has almost all of the collection, so I hope maybe they will come out with more. She visits some of the places in the books that are near where she lives to see the works of art. She has started collecting the books since she was four, now she's six and she's learning to read them herself as well as enjoy the absolutely gorgeous pictures.

Such a beautiful and creative story
This is an amazing unique tale that is sure to delight everyone from the young to the young at heart. A magical introduction to the paintings of some classic British artists and their famous pictures. Starting with John Constable's The Cornfield featuring a young shepherd boy called Ben. I love how Katie and her new friend Ben are able to step in and out of the paintings in the gallery truly magical. I loved how the author James was able to replicate the style of the British painters and expand the stories displayed to bring them to life. Very highly recommended.

Exciting and ‘educational’ series.
Brilliant series! My granddaughter is now 7 and I’ve been reading to her CIA FaceTime most nights during the pandemic. She loves them and we now have all of them.

How to make children and their parents happy
This and other books are gifts for children I have met their parents during my travels in the UK. My purpose is to send realistic books so they can learn more about the world around them. I usually get eMails from the parents who appreciate the quality of the books, and how the children share the books with their friends.

Children loved it.
The children were really absorbed by the very subtle characters moving out of the gallery paintings. A very informative book too about the English painters. I ordered the copy for a school where I had used a library copy for a practical interview.Children loved it.
