Suzuki Violin School, Vol 3: Violin Part

I like this book, I can learn it well

I play the violin. Yet, while I do know how to read notes and play them, I am inclined to playing by ear. However, I don't play the classics everyone knows and loves, but the popular songs that you hear on the radio's top music station and get stuck in your head. Why? Because they get stuck in my head. But that's beside the point. I am in an ensemble, so I decided to get a nice, easy book to take a break with and to supplement my daily practice sessions. This is the revised edition, and I prefer this one the the previous version. The pieces are somewhat edited, and new bowings and exercises are added. The compositions included are clearly and largely written, which is pleasing the the eye. The pieces are great classics that you will probably be able to recognize. There are some great lessons and exercises thrown in there which will aid your playing, as well. There is also a glossory of musical terms in English, French, German, and Spanish, which has proved to be helpful on various occasions. Overall, I reccommend this practice violin book to any violinst who is going through the journey of learning on his or her own, student who wants to go beyond what school orchestra has to offer, or, like me, one who wants to supplement their daily playing. It suits my needs very nicely and I hope it does the same to you.

Suzuki is a good course to follow. It gets a lot harder on book 3 as opposed to book 2, at least for me

This book is well put together, and the notes are easy for my son to read. The book arrived quickly. I don't remember whether I ordered it new or used, but it looks like new.

This is a good book, but only has 7 songs, not worth it if you are teaching yourself

Ok I understand that things can happen like rain,but wasn't it possible to put the music sheets in plastic bag or something!? You could save my order and you prestige with one plastic bag. You have to know that the music sheets are valuable for us and we need to get it in good condition,you can ask more money but to be more careful to product. It totally damaged and when it dry it will be worst

I have all of the Violin/Viola Suzuki books now (some are old, i.e. Suzuki Violin Vol. 9 (copyright 1955 maybe?). Books 9 & 10 for Violin are simply Mozart Concertos No. 5 and 4 respectively, with technique guidelines for the more difficult parts of the Concertos and lots of focus on the cadenzas (Joachim). I was not exactly trained as a pre-teen the "true" Suzuki Method, which tends to focus more on learning by rote while learning to read music. I love the books as a guideline, but in my opinion, children should be taught to read music just like any other language.

He comprado el libro para mi hija. No tengo ni idea de lo que pueda valer en otro sitio, pero me pareció un buen precio.. Me llegó al día siguiente y todo correcto como siempre. Sobre el libro no puedo opinar.

Poder adquirir em meio digital foi um ótimo custo benefício, além de oportuno poder ter acesso imediato. A única questão que me fez revisar a avaliação é que não é possível visualizar no kindle, apenas nos aplicativos. Como optei ter kindle e não tablet, como também não utilizo Mac e deixei Windows, só consigo visualizar no celular, o que é péssimo pelo caráter do conteúdo.
