22yr System Admin background. Lately due to the semiconductor shortage there has been an uprising of generic branded hardware. TP-Link is a good residential brand and I've used their products before in the past. I needed PoE for a security camera with plans to add more in the future. This switch has more features than most will ever need, out of the box its ready to use. Unfortunately in my application where I had to mount the switch, I cannot see the activity LED's, but that is nothing against the switch. I knew this before ordering, price and brand is why I chose this one. It will do what you need it to do. Buy it with confidence. There are no patch cables included, just the switch, power brick, wallmount screws and rubber feet.

Switch works great, just like it should. I used it to power POE cameras and has been running flawlessly for a few years now. Never needed a reboot or anything. I never tried the interesting boost feature for longer than spec runs. I'm definitely curious how reliable that is.

This is very durable and easy to setup.

I used this to push incoming signal from a point-to-point dish to three TP-Link EAP225 AP's. This unit worked right away and was very reliable. The only thing I wish I had known, that I was scratching my head on for a bit at first, was that it will *not* provide PoE power to your Line In. For that I had to use a separate PoE injector, which I was hoping to avoid. Overall excellent!

I have two of these for video (PoE) and they have performed well indoors and out in the garage. I like that they have vents since IF you place a (PoE) router in very cold or humid climates the unit will form condensation inside of the case and eventually you will have issues. This unit in my garage has been in 10 to 120 degree weather in Michigan and has not had any issues.
