Hearing Amplifiers of good Quality and Price
This is my third set of hearing amplifiers over the past 6+ years. The devices have enabled me to improve my hearing which is 78% loss. Battery life is slight more than one week. At 86 years old on a fixed income it beats these thousands of dollar devices which give out in less than 5 years. Highly recommend!

A good device for the price.
I purchase these for my mother. Generally they last about a year for her. They work well, although there are several different settings and it is not uncommon for someone to adjust them by mistake which can effect the tone or volume. The battery life is very important, as it permits operation of almost a month without change, and the confusion it may cause when the signal goes away. The failure of the units on a regular basis seemed to be caused by the user pulling the cable to remove the speaker in the ear. The little wires eventually fail. If the user is careful these appear to last a long time. Brizgo has replaced some on warranty, but i suspect most of the damage is user induced.

Over the Ear Hearing aid
Over the ear Hearing aide has great amplified sound. It uses batteries so you know when to replace. Just carry an extra battery with you. No messing with a plug in to recharge. This is the best one I have found.

Disappointed
I really want to love Britzgo, I really, really do. Unfortunately, no matter how carefully and lovingly I treat their products, they never last more than 18 months. It doesn’t matter whether they are rechargeable or battery powered, they either develop disturbing audio tones that interfere with listening quality or they just go dead. I’ve had both happen. The last straw was a recent order of a pair of their popular model BHA-220 battery powered units one of which went totally dead on the first use. Too much trouble for me. I’m done with Britzgo.

Good hearing aid
These work very well if you or someone you know needs hearing aids. They’re generic so obviously not as great as getting personally adjusted hearing aids, but for the money they’re great. I’m only giving a 3 star because they don’t last. This last purchase marks the 5th we’ve bought in as many years. They just stop working! But if you’re on a fixed income they are a good alternative for the $5,000 ones.

Cheapskate hits the jackpot.
I bought a set of these about six months ago. As a former rocker playing in bands that often had more than two thousand watts of sound amplification set on stage within ten feet away, I've acquired a hearing loss. These work great! I've changed batteries twice. You know you need to do this when they start making surf noises or clicking noises. If you ignore the hints that the battery is dying, you find that the unit just quits. The four frequency settings allow good adjustments for different sound environments. I can converse with people in restaurants again, but I can easily hit the off button if I don't want to hear any annoyances. I've discoverd that the volume adjustment and the frequency adjustment buttons give little beeps as you push them, to help set the levels as you wear them. These fit and work really well for me.

Not great for small ears and not great for the tropics
I don't think this is a bad product, but it isn't right for everyone. As a woman with small features, the "arch" is quite a bit taller than the top of my ear, which is uncomfortable, limits hairstyles, and bumps into the arm of my glasses. Also, I live in the tropics, which means ceiling fans are a major part of everyday life everywhere you go, and the amplifier seems to "catch" fan noises much more than anything else, no matter what frequency mode is selected. It may be that due to the fan issue I simply need something with more fine-tuning than is available in this price range. The basic aspects of the product are good, they're easy to use, I did see some benefit in terms of depth of hearing, and I can see why they are a popular product in this price range, but for my use case at least, they don't stack up.
