Vitamin C normally makes my skin red but this really was soothing and I can see a few small results after only a week of use. I have really noticed that one sunspot has really lightened up and a few fine lines around my eyes have plumped up. There is a bit of alcohol in this serum but it hasn't caused any issues for me. I love the blue bottle this Tula serum comes in--something different!The serum is a little 'watery' compared to some serums but smooths on very nicely on my skin. At first it seems as if it will leave my skin a little 'tacky' but once it completely dries, my skin feels super soft.I have slightly sensitive skin with slight rosacea. This serum didn't make my skin itch, turn red, burn, or irritate it in any way.Botanicals, vitamin B, whatever, I just like how it feels on my skin.Though unscented, it still has some kind of scent and while not unpleasant, it's not a beautiful scent, but it dissipates very quickly.I am not a big fan of the type of dispensers where you plunge down the top and then draw up the serum into the glass dropper; a lot of times these type dispensers don't work so well to provide enough for my face, throat, and chest, where I put all my serums and moisturizers. However, it does keep the serum clean and free from any bacteria, so that's a plus.At $48, it's not cheap but it is certainly not the more expensive of serums I have tried; mid-line priced, and overall a lovely serum.Thanks for reading, Kathryn.

I’m 25 and I do have redness. With these drops, my dry patches have improved dramatically. It smells AMAZING for one and also Tulas products are formulated without any of the following: Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Mineral Oil & Petrolatum, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Releasing Preservatives, Triclosan, Retinol, Fragrance, Dairy, Gluten, Silicone, Dimethicone.They are also cruelty-free, I would purchase this again, as it’s made a big difference in the appearance of my skin. Without making my skin overly oily, or causing me breakouts. There isn't much of a scent which I do like. The fact that this doesn’t have added fragrance is a good sign.The packaging is also really nice. The dropper style is a bit unique being almost like a button. I like the concept but at the same time, the functionality can be a little tricky to get those last little drops out. I have used this product many times before which I have purchased at Ulta, but it wasn’t available so I decided to risk it in order from Amazon. The box was gross and had actual dirt on it. The box was also beat up and looked like it had been opened and closed several times or something I’ve been dropped on it. The serum, when I opened it, looked weird and had some discoloration that made me think it was not fresh or had been contaminated. I usually use the serum when my skin needs to calm down after I’ve had a reaction to something or my skin barrier was damaged, and I am definitely not putting this on my face and risking even more of a reaction from an ineffective product.
