These firm control camisoles do exactly what I want them to do. They smooth out the roll around my waist so that I look better in my clothes. They don’t make it go away completely - it would take a whalebone corset to do that - but it gives me a better shape. I wear mine all day for work. The adjustable straps, the coverage under my arms and back so nothing is bulging over my bra, and the length are all features I really like. These camisoles are very nice fabric that other fabrics glide over, which is important to me because I can’t stand clothes sticking or clinging to me. They also are relaxed at the top so your assets aren’t flattened. On me, they do not roll up from the bottom, another thing I like. I wear a 12-14 top so I bought a large and it fits like I wanted it to. They are well made, high quality shapewear and I will continue purchasing them. They make me feel more confident about my appearance.

Best shaping tank ever!
I've been wearing these for YEARS I can't live without them. I have one in white and one in "nude" but I wear the black ones almost every day. The fit is tight and they hit right at mid hip so, my tummy is flat and my waist is snatched! After a few months though, they do loosen a bit but the price is great so I just buy more! The fabric is super soft and breathable. Also, I don't get the "sideshow" that I get from other brands.

Tight fit on top.
Good luck getting it on. I like the fact that it has an inside very firm compression fitted panel. If you made shorts like this, I'm buying! No one makes firm thigh high compression shorts that don't kill you. This top is very strong in the middle, the straps, chest not so much. The length is perfect buttttt slides up. Nothing keeping it down. I'd start feet first and pull it up. Otherwise you would be in a bind trying to get it past the girls. I'm actually happy with this, I just wish it had more of a bra type top? And a band at the bottom keeping it from rising. After using this a few times, it’s long enough, tight enough I’d definitely buy another

Love This Compression Tank
Been wearing these tank tops for years. Great, comfortable compression. I size down. To get a tighter fit in the trunk. Fine on the chest (not very compressive.). Works well under clothes and as a regular tank top under a cardigan/jacket/etc.

I absolutely love my maiden form under shirts! I don’t get dressed without on. They are easily layered without causing you to overheat. I will order these many more times in the future

Made well, but product is unpredictable
These are snug but that's how I like them to fit. I typically would give this product 5 stars, but after purchasing 8+ of these tank tops over the past few years (some on Amazon, some in store), I am only giving it 3 because the company/product is somewhat unpredictable. Over the years I've noticed that every now and then the material differs. I often buy these in pairs so that they will last longer, and I've even had one be made with one material, and the second made out of another material, which should not be the case at all. They should be identical. The first material is almost bathing suit like. It stretches, is slick, and holds its shape longer. The second is still stretchy and conforms to your shape, but can often dig into your skin a little bit and never lasts as long as the other. It's soft so I have no complaints there, but it simply just doesn't work as well. It's more on the cotton side, where the other is more on the spandex side. Like usual I ordered two of these this time, and both were made out of the second material. I'm bummed because this material is never as comfortable or as flattering, and I'm going to be really bummed if this is a permanent change. I'll have to see in my next order if it's the same material used. I listed some things below for people who are still interested in buying. Fit: I wear a M/L usually. I buy these in a medium because I like them snug. If you don't like snug get your normal size. Remember they conform to you and stretch out a little. Take advantage of the adjustable straps - they help more than you realize. Longevity: I wear these ever day and always order two at a time to make them last longer. I purchase new ones just about every six months. How I wear them: I wear these literally under everything. Most commonly I wear them to work (I'm a teacher) because I often have to move around a lot. I sometimes wear them under dresses but I do have to wear some sort of spandex short with them so that is doesn't ride up. When wearing with pants, I always tuck them in. It just works better and is more comfortable. Pros: They are form fitting and slenderizing. When tucked into pants they don't ride up much (maybe an inch), so I don't have to readjust much. It's like a normal tank top, every now and then you need to pull it down, etc. Other than the material changing as mentioned above, these are made very well in my opinion. They're durable, and because they are double-layered they hold you in better and last longer. Cons: Everything mentioned in the first paragraph. They do tend to cut into underarm fat (both materials). That's where you need to take advantage of the adjustable straps. This helps a lot but not 100%. As mentioned above, if these were made solely out of the spandex material, I would give these a 5/5 without a doubt. For the price and in comparison to other products, they can't be beat. But because you don't know what you're getting, that's the risk with these. If this company has permanently switched to the other material, I think it's worth looking elsewhere for a product like this.

Size up
I bought a XL and couldn't get it over my head so I sent back and bought a XXL. Doing great, feels very comfy while giving me support.

Product gave me an "After School Special" lesson on being fat, I just wanted a nice smoothing tank top.
I have a similar tank top that I use to smooth out my lovely lady lumps under all types of tops and dresses and absolutely love so I took a chance on this product thinking it was the same item just in a different color. (Black instead of the sparkly dark gray one I have) I was very very wrong. This shapewear tank top was not, in fact, a handy smoothing undergarment, it was a life lesson that I didn't particularly want at the time but was forced to digest on a particularly stressful Monday. I got it in the right size, smaller would have been too small, larger too big, there's no real reason for the costume malfunction I had to endure. The first and only time I wore this item I was wearing it under a tunic and tight leggings (which were not meant to be visible above about mid-thigh, EVER, by ANYONE). I mention this fact because it relates to the life-lesson and subsequent shame I was to experience thanks to this tank top. So I'm walking to my bus stop to get to work, trying to feel all smooth and lovely even though I have moved from the smooth and lovely stage of womanhood to the "slightly boxy and lumpy" stage that sneaks up on you in your late 30s that you start trying to combat with increased exercise, a better diet, and undergarments that make you feel fairly bullet-proof. So I have the tight leggings that aren't mean to be pants on under a tunic dress that isn't all tent-y and this tank pulled down over my hips to keep the legging / tunic / waist demarcation line from being visible. As a note to what I rather reasonably, in my opinion, expected from this tank top (that I get from other similar articles of fine feminine figure smooshery) is a smoother figure possibly found in nature. To elaborate, I strongly believe my body should go like this: Convex-concave-convex. My body in tight leggings, however, would prefer to go convex-concave-convex-concave-convex thanks to the waistband of my leggings. You can judge, but I'm aiming for hour-glass here, not fun house mirror. So as I get about half way to my bus stop when I feel the tank top riding up past my hips to end up in multiple fat-roll like bunches around my waist adding about 5 inches and rolls THAT I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO START WITH to my mid section. This was when I realized that this was probably some life lesson; here I was, all worried about being in my late 30s and not being all totally smooth and all, but still being a size 6, and relatively ok (relative to the extra 30 pounds and rolls I could very easily have as proven by this rolled up mess of a tank) or something deep and meaningful like that that. Perhaps, this tank top was, in fact, trying to put my vanity in perspective and let me know I didn't have to try so hard and should rejoice in my figure as it is or something! Whee! Self-love! Hugs-to-me! But then I thought "Kiss my not-so-smooth bum tank-top. YOU HAD ONE JOB, ONE JOB." I was then left with the unappealing option of finishing my walk and commute to work looking like I had an extra 30 or so pounds of fat-rolls on my mid-section, or to inelegantly yank the tank-top down and try to get it back to its original position. Difficulty: No businesses I can pop into to use a restroom, just me and all the traffic on the Pacific Coast Highway here in sunny Southern California. Being the classy kind of chick that I am, I choose option "Flash traffic" and reached both hands under my tunic lifting it all the way up over my arse in the process, showing P.C.H. morning rush hour traffic the glory that is my bum in legging that AREN'T pants, and wrestle the tank top down to its original position. I then have to hook a thumb into the bottom section of the tank top to anchor it on my hip to keep it from riding up again. Wouldn't buy this brand, wouldn't recommend this particular "smoothing tank top" to women unless they want some kind of self-esteem epiphany and to basically be forced into mooning traffic. I'll check the brand of the one that I also bought on Amazon that doesn't ride up or try to go all life-lesson on me when it gets back from cleaning.
