Wow, I purchased these clubs a couple weeks ago, have played 2 rounds , 1st and hitting them on the range , straight from box to bag to course , 1st 43/ 44. 2nd round 39/38 I'm a 50 year old 7.7 handicap, I'm not new to owning a set of all Hybrid irons , I have a set of Lazarus that I really liked and was looking for a second set for when I work/ play in Arizona. Bought these with intention of these clubs heading south, I was wrong, these Wazaki Hybrids will stay in my bag , these clubs are absolutely amazing, I'm 10/15 longer per club , they produce the ability to hit really high shots with low spin or low penetrating shots with good spin, they are workable for a draw or fade and little Mis hits of the row or heel really are not affected much. The grips are soft the feel and look are great. Highly recommend these to any golfer from Scratch to high handicappers looking for a club that's very easy to hit. And I was able to remove my Taylormade 2 hybrid as I can fly this 4 hybrid just as far , have been able to reduce my bad by 2 clubs. Great clubs, don't need fooled , if you are wanting to beat your buddy's, buy a set!!!

Awesome Clubs At A Great Price
I had to change my golf game because of a debilitating illness. I can no longer swing a golf club in the normal fashion like I used to - most notably my irons. I purchased these hybrids to make it easier for me to hit the ball with my now limited swing and swing power, and I can say these are awesome clubs!! To start with, I gauged my club distances based off of my irons - basically just using the hybrid equivelant of the iron I would have used in the past (example - 8 hybrid in place of my 8 iron). Then, I adjusted from there. What I found was that I could hit these hybrids well - something I was no longer able to do with my irons. I was also getting WAY more yardage out of these hybrids than I did my irons - even with my now limited swing and swing power. My normal 8 iron shot is now my 9 hybrid shot (pretty much the same all the way through each of the hybrid sizes). It feels very good to be able to hit the ball so cleanly, and straight again - something I am no longer able to do with my old iron set. These clubs have helped me enjoy golfing once again, and I am very impressed by their quality, price, and looks! I get compliments on the clubs every time I play now!

Great clubs if you can’t hit irons
Love these clubs...as I had such a hard time hitting my irons the weight of the club heads allow me to swing the club through the ball and get a full follow through also the sand wedge which I thought would’ve been the most difficult to hit is very easy for me the only thing I would change which I did already are the grips they are really small and feel cheap. I switched to a midsized grip made by superstroke and they make the clubs feel expensive. Love the look love the feel the sound at impact is a little clunky but doesn’t effect the ball flight or the forgiveness of these clubs. I would definitely recommend for anyone that has a hard time hitting irons and loves to play golf the changes my game completely I went from shooting in the high 90’s to low 90’s consistently and have shot rounds in the low 80’s

Nice clubs
I had to return these but only because they were just too long for me.Im 5’8” with the reach of someone 6’. Good weight , less impact on my hands. Well made nice grips look great. Not worth the cost of cutting them down and regripping them.

I can’t hit them at all.
No matter which club I use, they all go the same distance. It’s odd. However, I will give them to someone that can hit them. They’re very pretty, the club covers are super nice, but the gold wears off the bottom quickly. They are. Ice clubs, just don’t work for me.

Wazaki club set, my best club.
I purchased the Wazaki gold hybrid irons, 5 wood and Cyclone 77 10° driver and played 5 rounds in the Kissimmee and Orlando Florida golf courses and extremely happy. I'm a 19 handicap 70 year old regular golfer and only first outing at Orange Lake Legends course I scored 83 with an eagle on the 11th long par 5, 120 yards 3rd shot holed in. Call it luck but it is what it is. Performance of the irons is they are consistent and because they are hydrids they just brush the fairway grass pick-up the ball no divot. Ball flight is high and stops on the green with 3 short hops. The driver is consistent and straight same distance as my Ping driver but straighter and consistent 220 yrs. The 5 wood flight is high and long 190-200 yrs. Straight consistent. Only issue is the gold finish is wearing off, actually transferring to the ball. Not a big issue and does not affect performance. For the price I did not go wrong. I have 8 iron sets and this the cheapest and my current favorite. I love it. Let's see how durable they are but they are guaranteed 5 years so I'm not worried, quality of finish is excellent. On the bag is my old Ping driver i15 and Mizuno MP52. Now I play Wazaki and very satisfied Try it and see how it work for you.

Covers are not leather and club numbers too small to read
Would not buy Why? The clubs are very thunky They make a dead sound when u hit The grips are for kids hands and very thin The club numbers are microscopic under the head and make it very hard to choose a club The head covers are not leather instead some sort of shiny plastic and they are just too big Fill up the bag The hitting distance is variable The 8 iron hits 150 yards And the 7 iron 140 And the PW is 100+ Very little control or spin means no stopping power on the green The main trouble is just getting the ball straight There is around 45 degrees of variation on any shot from left to right depending on your timing and head angle And hard to be confident over distance It is a nice idea but hard to get a good round together Not recommended

These clubs do launch it high
Just got these last week after reviewing many hybrid iron sets. They came well packaged in a double box and individually wrapped. First thing you notice is the quality and workmanship as these clubs are really well made. The 2nd thing is that they are a bit longer maybe 3/4" than my Taylormade speed blades. They are also much lighter with the 55g shaft. I've used them once and hit a bucket of balls and they are about as long as the Taylormade speed blades but they consistently launch the ball much higher and are very easy to hit even in the rough. My swing speed has been slowing down (hate getting oId) and I was losing height and distance on the mid and long irons thus the reason for the purchase. I'll play a round in the next few days and update these preliminary findings, but so far so good. Okay so I payed a round yesterday and hit a few amazing shots with the 4i, 5i and PW. They are about 1 club or so longer than my old Taylormade Speed Blades but I do notice that on a few shots, the ball immediately flared to the right (a push) which I rarely do as I normally fight a hook. Not sure if I'm playing them too far forward or nor which might explain it. I seem to recall somewhere that the mfg requested feedback on experiences with these clubs and offered some analysis if requested. does anyone have a web address for Wazaki?
