This does not deserve the 1* I rated. Cheap, China-made "foam"...Ultimate waste of time and money--I will be returning...alas, so disappointing that Amazon puts the onus on buyer to repack item, schlep to a drop-off when they should be offering (at seller expense) pick-up service by USPS or some other carrier. The foam, after "rising" for hours is still barely 3/16" thick and NOT in the least bit firm...never could this be construed as firm or supportive. The width stated is 16"...and there might be a small portion that expands to this width but most of the foam is 12-14" wide. I am so irritated with myself for not reading more reviews...don't make my mistake...forget Amazon for this purchase and to to your local (or online) upholstery supply vendor.

The product image of a nicely rolled foam sheet is not quite what they send. I was quite concerned when it arrived. It was vacuum packed and hard as a rock, well almost. After cutting the bag open, the foam still just stayed in a compressed wrinkled condition. After a few hours it still had bad creases. It was described as 16" x 79" x .4". It actually was about 15" x 75"x .4". It seemed to be on the firm side to me for such a thin pieace of foam. It will do the job for me as I only need a piece about 12" square. But, I think the manufacture could do better than selling an undersized extremely wrinkled product.

I like it because it comes the roll and you can cut it the size you want and how u want it. It helped me for my lipo and I can't complain.

Nice foam. As someone else mentioned, throw it in the dryer on "fluff" or similar setting. It removes all compression, wrinkling, etc.

I originally purchased this to pad the subwoofer box in my car. Worked well enough, in conjunction with poly fill, to improve the overall quality of my sound system. I have continued using it to pad the pages on the bottom side of some hardcover books, to keep the pages from sagging over time. It works perfectly.

Worked well for my project. It comes vacuumed packed so you need to give it some time to expand out. I opened it then used it a couple days later. You don’t need to wait that long I just had to wait til the weekend to do my project. Will buy again when I need it.

Don't let the shrink wrap package deter you. Within a few hours of being unpacked it was so fine I purchased another one. Needed some extra padding on a chair and this did the trick.

This product is garbage. It isn’t high or medium density foam. If you want this as padding or to sit on it’s useless. I wanted it to pad kneeling… garbage.

Came absolutely squeezed into a tiny little package , all crushed up full of creases , way over priced for what you get

Not worth it. I just kept as I need asap. The product is alright though.
