As with most people I have made the change from plastic to glass in all my kitchen items. Unfortunately, even the glass containers come with some plastic, either covers or straws. I purchased these glass straws to eliminate that issue. I do have stainless steel water bottles but those even have plastic straws. Ordered these glass straws but was concerned they may be fragile and cause more harm than good. The minute I opened them I could feel how well made and durable they appeared. While washing in the sink I dropped one and it did not crack or break. Amazing!! They are so smooth and fit well in my large water container perfectly. It did come with a straw cleaner, that I found to be very coarse, not sure if I will use that. I do not intend to put in the dishwasher but hand wash. They are already bent so that works. They are thick and durable after using a few days. Very functional alternative to plastic and I believe they will last a long time. No residual taste that I can detect. Beautifully designed and functional.

I was a bit skeptical at first, some reviews had said they were broken upon delivery and break easy, however I took a chance and ordered them. I think they are great. They are sturdy and fit perfectly in my Stanley like I hoped. One had got stuck in my drawer and didn’t even break. Very impressed with that. I think these are a great purchase if you are like me and looking for more eco friendly products in your home, perfect for replacing the plastic straws in your favorite cups. I personally like the glass straws more than the metal straws, there’s no metallic taste. They are cute and aesthetically pleasing, goes perfectly with my Stanley. They even come with a straw cleaner, for easy cleaning.

Love drinking out of a glass straw. Makes my water taste so much better. :)) These straws are very well made. So durable. Dropped my cup today & my straw didn’t break. Yay! They fit perfectly in my Stanley. Very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. The straws are the star here— high quality, thick, rounded edges, nice height, and so far, withstand drops and other inadvertent abuse without chipping or shattering. They are also wide enough for sipping thick smoothies with no problem. As long as they undergo at least a perfunctory rinse immediately after use, cleaning is relatively easy without the pipe (straw) cleaner.The accompanying pipe cleaner dulls in comparison to the glass straw. The fit makes cleaning difficult, and adding insult to injury, the metal spine rusts after one use, thus dissuading any inclination to be used a second time. As demonstrated in the attached video, this is true whether using a dry straw or cleaning with soap and water. For these reasons, the star drop.

Wanted to get away from having plastics in my nice Stanley and Yeti mugs. Wasn't sure how "glass" straws were going to work but these are fantastic! Very high quality from Germany (I think) and the size is perfect for the taller mugs my family uses. Easy to clean and although I've dropped them a few times, none have broken. That's great. Would highly recommend these to anyone looking to move away from plastics/metal straws for cleaner drinking.
