EVENup worked for me
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT sponsored nor do I receive products for review. On to the review: First off, I feel bad for the folks that were disappointed with the product. I've been in my EVENup for the last two weeks and so far it's been working great. I wish there were another pad that could be used to fine tune the height, but I guess that's what your regular shoes are for. Play around with whichever pair puts yours knees at the closest similar height. I've been in my Otto Bock boot for the last 5 weeks after getting surgery to reattach a torn achilles tendon. First I used the boot with two crutches and then one crutch and then one crutch and the EVENup. Now I'm off the crutch, so it's just the boot and the EVENup. I haven't slipped yet (thank the Lord) although my boot has given me a scare a couple of times. I ordered the XL version of the EVENup since I wear a size 13 and the occasional 14. US, men's. So far it's worked with a KD Trey 5X in size 13, a Puma TRC Blaze Court in 13 and a GT Jump 2 in size 14. The rubber framing fit well enough over the shoes to give a good fit. The foam is nice and hard, so it gives a good platform for your shoe to sit on. I've used the EVENup in grass, in the wet and in the dry. On tiled surfaces or polished cement it can be a little tricky, but then again what shoe has grip in those circumstances? I'm probably around 210lbs right now, and so far it seems to work out just fine for me. Could it be because of my weight? Maybe I compress the tread enough that it grips? Not too sure, but the EVENup has worked a treat thus far. I had to play around with different shoes to get the most even knee height. For all three shoes listed (I'm currently using the Pumas at the moment), the EVENup held them snug and they didn't slip out. Now bear in mind you probably shouldn't be trying out for a basketball team in these; but for regular movement I haven't had issues. Your mileage will/may vary, of course. Overall I'm glad I made the purchase. My hips definitely feel better compared to when I first tried walking without the EVENup. I get to remove the boot after next week so the EVENup will have served it's usefulness and hopefully I will never have to use it again. Ditto for my walking boot.

This Shoe Lift is GREAT!
This is excellent! Having to wear a boot for a broken foot I was constantly limping because of the higher boot. My daughter suggested I get one of these and it's a game changer. My hips are even again without strain. I highly recommend one of these for anyone wearing medical boot!!! As one review stated, when already wearing a not so stylish boot, the looks of adding a lift doesn't matter. It great, easy to use and I just change it to the shoe I'm wearing on my good foot. I give it 10 stars!

Worked great!
Really helpful while I was in my walking boot. It leveled out my hips. It was great that it had different height inserts I could use with different shoe types.

Saved My Aching Back
Started experiencing lower back pain while using a walking boot around the house, so purchased the EVENup adjustable height shoe lift in large (I wear a U.S. men's 12 shoe) to even out my walking gait. The product did just that and my back pain subsided. The upper cage is made of a flexible rubber that expands around the shoe to hold it in place; however, experienced a little slipping in the heel area, but not enough to cause stability concerns. There is a thin velcro strap to secure the upper toe area. The sole is grippy and never slipped on ceramic tile or vinyl flooring surfaces. The shoe lift comes set at the highest height, which is what I retained, but the platform soles are removable if a lower height is desired. Overall, pleased with the product, but perhaps a wider strap would be better. No durability issues, but only used the product everyday for ~four weeks. Also, never had an issue with the rubber cage leaving marks/creases on my shoes, but I didn't wear the same pair of shoes every day. IMPORTANT - closely adhere to the vendor's instructions for selecting a size. All of my shoes measured longer than 12", so this is why I bought large over medium. Also, the shape of the shoe is very important. My slip-in Sketchers did not fit well, but shoes with a lower/streamlined sole profile, more closely resembling the vendor's picture did.

Exactly as I had hoped it would be to equalize my gait.
I work on my feet, and I didn’t want to have to take time off for a stress fracture. This was exactly what I was looking for! I was able to walk literal miles so much more comfortably because it helped equalize my hips. It was easy to use. Durable. Versatile for different athletic shoes. The material kept up with my rhythm without significant wear and tear.

Excellent product
Recently had ankle surgery and have to wear a walking boot. This shoe lift works amazing to get your opposite leg the same height so there is no height discrepancy. So no limping, no hip pain because of having one leg shorter than the other because of the boot.

Help is on the Way!
I usually don’t t write reviews, but I thought I can help a fellow Bootie. Lol! I have been wearing a boot on left foot for weeks and it affected my knees and back because of unevenness. I am 67 and in pretty decent shape. Hurt foot bc of frozen foot because Raynaud’s Syndrome. Even up has helped by making my two legs, hip and knees relatively more even. It is not exactly even, but really helps with walking and alleviated pain. Good luck to you !

Game changer
If you have to spend a few week walking around with an air cast this is a must have. I was still using crutches for balance until I got this. Having my legs the same length again and my hips even, I can walk around comfortably and confidently. Don't suffer being lopsided, just grab this. I got a medium & wear a women's 9, fits perfectly.

Excelente compra

best product
This product is very helpful for the people who are using the the Vacoped boot. It helps to level the height preventing knee and foot pain on your good leg. Only issue is the size is a little smaller, i should have ordered a large instead of a medium to fit the shoes.
