Good durable crucible!
Seen others complain about these breaking, but I've had no problems with mine. Works perfectly fine after it has been properly seasoned. Have noticed some small pitting after running at high temps, but nothing serious. Still durable and solid!

unusable after 1 use
waiting to hear from company...pictured on left is the original 1kg that came with my furnace. It has (3) silver pours so far. Pictured on the right is what I just received...there is a size difference in the top rings, and it barely hangs on at the top. After 1 silver pour, it is completely pitted and smaller than what it was before use. I am afraid to use it again for fear of it breaking at the top and falling into the furnace. It in no way resembles the original. I have forwarded all info to the company...will update when I know more. Just heard from the company...they sent pics of what they supposedly sent me...not even close to what I received...and of course, I am the only one that has ever had issues...so tired of hearing that. I initiated a return which they accepted. Just ordered the 3kg...we will see if this size is better

Awesome crucible
Works and holds up nicely longer than the recommended

Cracked on first use no customer support
Significant crack after first use. I was offered a refund or replacement. My replacement came quickly in the mail.

1KG crucible shrinks with use and becomes unusable.
This crucible worked well for the first two pours, but has decreased in size so much that it now falls several inches into the furnace well if I try to use it. The top lip of the crucible is far too small to remain at the top of the furnace. I have to reach down into the furnace well with large pliers to grip the crucible enough to lift it out of the furnace. I ordered the 1KG version and very much regret it.
