I know it says holds small change; can it hold dollar bills?

Yes, definitely. The whole top opens so you can put change, bills, whatever in it. My daughter-in-law puts sugar packets in it.

Absolutely Adorable. Perfect for the Casino Lover in your family!

This was a hit! We got this for my aunt who loves the casino and filled it with some chips, some coins and some ones for her birthday to send her off right on a great casino evening. Its adorable. Relatively small, but accurate to the described size. I was surprised by the quality - it seems like its decent material.
