Vive Le Color! Mandala (Adult Coloring Book): Color In; De-stress (72 Tear-out Pages)

Ah I love the thicker paper on this. I can even use watercolor. Gel pens and markers are great too. There's lots of fine lines but it's not hard to do and the patterns are so relaxing rather than worrying about shading this or making something look realistic I can just focus on what colors might look pretty together. I'm one of those people who likes these better than crosswords or sudoku for passing time or keeping my hands occupied when waiting. So relaxing and low pressure!

Paper is gorgeous. Designs don't require days on end to complete. Once done, I use the decorated pages as scrap paper so I can enjoy it twice over. Smaller size nice for taking on trips as well.

This book is fantastic! One of my favorites! The size of these books are a square & smaller than a regular book. It has very challenging pictures & they're beautiful.

Images not printed well, some of the images are half printed with darker ink and half printed with lighter ink. Also images gave tiny details which are hard to color. Images are not very interesting either.

While I love mandalas and the viva collection I thought was such a cute idea and design. The glued easily tearable spine of the book is extremely delicate. I was coloring the very first page since receiving it and all but like 5 pages of the book separated completely from the front and back covers. So now I have two separate entities. The book cover. And then over here I have the pages. So had I intended on leaving them all in the book (which I did) that is now not a choice. The pages are coming unconnected from what's left of a spine which is just glue daily. And the pages are getting messed up Bc the font store as nicely as book that had covers. Anyway. I'm just disappointed that it fell apart. And on the first dang day. One plus is the paper. Unless you are incredibly heavy handed you can even color with markers without a bleed thru. The paper is great!!! And the designs are beautiful!!!

Fun book to start learning how to color. Some are pretty challenging and there are over 100 designs. Yikes, I hope I finish it.

I wasn’t expecting it to be tiny but I think that’s on my part of not reading the description. I was not impressed with the drawings I thought they want detailed they just seem more redundant over and over. Would not purchase again or buy as a gift

Like this book alot. I keep ordering them...I plan on giving the pictures I have painted (with brush markers) to Alzeheimers patients to enjoy. 300 of them went to Meals on Wheels recipients. Here are another 100 or more ready to go to an Alzeheimers house.

70 pages of different mandala designs, good thick paper. Pitt pens, triplus fineliners and connector pens dont bleed. Some designs are repitative or subsets of other larger designs. Good for meditative, repitative colouring fun.

There is a wide variety of themes available in the Vive Le Color series, I have six in total which were sent to me directly from the publishers to review on my myrandomreviewsblog blog, I figured I'd post my thoughts on amazon too. This review is for the Mandala themed book. In this book you'll find 72 images consisting of tradition circle style mandalas, whole page mandalas and multiple mandalas one one page. There's also a few nature images such as a tree or a bird made of up mandala style patterns. Mandalas are great because even you use colours that don't normally work, they always look great. For my completed pictures I've used Crayola Extreme Markers in the first, and Crayola Supertips in the second and gel pens in the third. The following points apply to all the books in the Vive Le Color! Series. There are varying levels of difficulty, some designs have larger spaces to colour, while there’s some very intricate designs for those who love colouring complex images. The less intricate designs are perfect for my daughter as they can be completed more quickly, she loves the complex designs but doesn’t have as much time as she’d like to complete them because of school work. I find the complex designs more relaxing, it takes more concentration to colour these in, which means my mind is taken off my anxiety. With 72 pages there should be plenty to suit whatever style you prefer. The book measures 17 x 17 CM and has a sturdy cardboard back, meaning that they are very portable and you don’t have to work at a table. My Daughter carries the one around with her in her school bag with some mini pencils so she can sit in the yard and colour on her lap during lunch breaks. Even the most complex of the images don’t seem so daunting thanks to the size. The images are big enough to offer opportunity for shading and fine details, while also being a manageable size. Great for experts and beginners like myself. The paper is a good quality, meaning most mediums will not bleed through, but should you experience bleeding it’s not a problem as the paper is only printed on one side. I really love when adult colouring publishers do this as I know I can use anything I like to colour and I won’t be ruining another image should my pens bleed through. Placing a peice of card stock inbetween offers extra reassurance if you need it, but we didn’t have any issues with ink soaking to the page underneath. Each book, when opened lays flat. I love this because it means it’s easy to colour near the binding. We find that with other books we’ve used, once you get a quarter of the way in through the pages you have to put a lot of pressure on the spine to open up the book to reach the designs and it’s really nice to not have to do that with this book. The pages can be easily torn out without ruining the paper, this means you can either tear them out to colour if you wish, or frame your completed designs, my Daughter plans to write a poem or personal message on the blank reverse and laminate some of her completed designs to give as gifts or instead of Birthday cards to her friends and family. I think it’s a great idea.

Come per gli altri della collezione, giudizio ottimo. A me piacciono particolarmente perché hanno dettagli molto piccoli, da colorare con pennarellini a punta sottilissima.

Condition was listed as "used - good" but didn't mention that the cover is totally detached from the contents. The edges are more used up than I would have imagined. I am disappointed with how used and dirty this was.

Pedi 2 libros iguales, uno llego en perfecto estado y el otro tenia la contra portada doblada y una parte del libro estaba desprendida. Tenia grandes expectativas para ellos, y no las cumplieron! Se quedaron a medias.
