Made a great gift! I love the one I have I keep it at my desk at work. I also gave one to a friend too.

It's too small to be practical, and the lid comes undone. Effectively not something that makes sense for pouring hot liquids.

This is a wonderful little tea pot. I made it work for two. I put my loose leaf tea in the small insert. Then I pour in my water pressing down on the release button. So, The whole pitcher fills up with hot water rather than just the small insert. Makes enough for two small cups of tea. Is holding up well. Washes easily.Update 12/7/16...While I do still love the pot itself the small part of the stainer that you push to release the water has a habit of coming off when you clean. I lost it during one of the cleanings. I emailed the company to see if I could purchase a replacement part. Never got a response. So, I am taking stars away. Impart, because this piece comes off so easily. But, mostly because of their lack of costumer service. I purchased (here on Amazon) a wonderful tea stainer that fits well in the pot. So, I can still use the pot itself.

Nice idea. It leaks a small amount into the carafe, but not a big problem. I like the idea of controlling the brew time.

I love how easy this is to use. I use it daily for Puerh tea. Very easy to clean.
