There's a 4 cake limit on this yarn. I need 6 of the same dye lot. How can I get 2 more?

how fine is this yarn?

This is a 4 weight yarn. Not fine but a wee bit thinner than a worsted weight yarn.

Is this good for color pooling?

I used "Morning Java" and I would say that because the color variation was slow and continuous it was definitely more of a "striping" rather than a "pooling" yarn. My problem was that it was way underweight. I had to double it up to get #4 weight. Doing that greatly "muddied the colors". If you have a project that requires a light weight yarn (ie. socks or baby clothes) it's fine. Otherwise I can't recommend it.

Cast on loosely, don't use to sew.

Lovely set of colours blended together. The only problem I had with it, when casting on I had to do a loose casting because otherwise it shreds and breaks away. No problem with it when knitting, but same problem when using it to sew items. I would but it again because it is fairly easy to use, and the end result is fab.

Lovely yarn

I'm using this to crochet a shawl - one cake has been sufficient buut I've purchased a second to make the shawl longer. Highly recommened the brand as it's been lovely to work with as a beginner crocheter.

Beautiful color butthickness isn't consistent

Bought 2 skeins with which I made one scarf and a placemat. The color is beautiful, and it is very soft. But I am not happy with consistency of the thickness of the yarn. Both skeins had the same issue that in places it was DK while in other places it was very thin (like threads instead of yarn) which made working with it hard. No knots in both skeins which is good.The instructions says 5mm crochet hook. But I would suggest 4.5mm due to thinness of the yarn.

This yarn is super soft, and really easy to work with. I made a scarf from 2 balls of this yarn, using tunisian crochet and got a great length.
