Use a Box & Not a bag
Our bird loves this product. With that being said Amazon shipped the product in a bag tearing up the chew sticks and unable to use. Please ship in box moving forward Thank you.

Perfect for parakeets
My birds absolutely loved this taste, though they didn’t last long. Their size is perfect for my parakeet to chew on for a few days.

My budgies love it!
My budgies love it!!! I’m a first time bird mom and not sure why I can’t make them love spray millet but I guess I was doing something wrong. But this time I got them these treats and they’re finally enjoying something!

High protein can induce egg laying
We were going away on vacation and the treats I usually purchase were out of stock, so thought this would work. Well, parakeets (2 female budgies) enjoyed it and the person looking after them fed 3 of the 4 to them! We returned, and a short time later, egg laying ensued! As this was the only change to their food and routine, I looked at the ingredients - high protein snack, includes eggs!! And yes, if you are wondering, this can cause egg-laying, especially if your parakeets don't usually eat a high protein diet. My poor 9-year-old hen did not know what was happening as neither hens have ever been broody (and she still wasn't, showed 0 interest in the eggs). Given her age, and this being the first time she laid eggs, I was quite concerned. 8 eggs later, she finally stopped (I removed the eggs about 19 days after the final egg was laid). That is a big clutch given her age and first clutch! Needless to say, I will never purchase this treat again, but thought I really should warn others with hens. Anyway, back to what we have always used...more expensive, but back in stock, AND does not induce egg laying!
