Delicious gelt!
I’m pretty sure this was the best tasting gelt I’ve ever purchased! I give this to my daughter every holiday season for 33 years—so far, so I was excited to find this… and even more, to taste it! Highly recommend!

Can we talk?
The famous Jew, Joan Rivers, used to say, "Can we talk?" before she'd launch into a joke about being candid about something. Can we talk about gelt? I don't think Hanukkah gelt has every been my favorite chocolate. It's usually way too sugary and waxy to really be very good. It's like Christian Easter chocolate. Honestly terrible. So keep your expectations realistic. The reason I'm giving these gelt coins five stars is that they are just like the gelt I grew up with, and they have the beautiful embossed gold foil. For that, they are the perfect chocolate gelt coins.

A good tasting coin!
Let's be real. Coin chocolate is not known for its quality or taste. I ordered for my kids for Saint Patty's Day since all my stors were out, and found myself eating this chocolate and substituting some of theirs for Reeses. 😂 So so good, and perfect for all the occasions. I also gifted some to other adults because the quality was so good!!

Confusing package
Kiddo excited to open the gelt and play the dreidel game (got this as a Christmas present for her because she wanted to play after learning about other traditionsat school away. High quality wrapping on the coins, almost feel like real coins. Chocolate stamped with same images as on the coin wrapper (dreidel and menorah) Package says 50 coins but only had 25. Had to look up my order history since ordered a couple weeks ago and just opened today, and I did order the 25 ct, but the package caused some disappointment for the kids because they thought it was going to have 50 in the bag based on reading it on the bag.
