Is the consistency of this liquid like a syrup?

A very thin syrup. But syrup in that it's kind of sweet. I have saved a flip up spout lid from an old bottle (they don't make that way anymore) and transfer to each new bottle. It pours easily into a Tbsp.

does this product contain any raw materials or ingreidients from china ?

Yes, of course. 99% of all supplement ingredients are from China. Why even ask the question? A simple web search will show you that Swiss branded Carnipure carnitine is made in Nansha, China. https://www.lonza.com/about-lonza/media-center/news/2010/new-manufacturing-facility-for-l-carnitine-products.aspx

What sort of sweetener is used in this?

It's sweetened with stevia, 15mg
