My 12 year old daughter has big problems sleeping. Although we set a schedule and she'd go to bed around 9pm, she wouldn't be able to fall asleep until 12 or 1:30am. She'd wake up several times throughout the night and then she'd be exhausted at school. She does stress out and have school anxiety, so coupled with the insomnia it was just a recipe for disaster. We had tried so many natural remedies, and even tried hypnotherapy. Nothing would help. She was cranky, constantly moody, had low energy and she had difficulty concentrating. It is a very heavy blanket (I got the 15lb one and my daughter is 120lbs). My daughter said it felt like someone was trying to flatten her. But she tried it and it's GREAT! I bought this because it was on sale and I heard good things about weighted blankets. I feel like I sleep a lot heavier and better when I have this on my bed. It’s great in the winter and keeps me warm. I got the gray one which is fine, not an exceptional color but blends in. Very heavy so you must plan ahead before getting into bed. You can’t just toss these covers around.

Heaven, truly. Buy an all cotton cover so it stays clean. Unfortunately mine (the cover) isn’t available anymore or I would recommend it. Another unfortunate is the right cover (that’s not too thin) will probably cost just as much as the weighted blanket. Another con, price fluctuates massively on this blanket. The one I purchased (pink, queen, 20lbs) went up like $40 a week afterwards and it wasn’t listed as a special sale when I got it. My advice, buy whatever color is cheapest and just get a cover of the color you actually want. Positives: WOW, I was late to work THREE times in one week due to this blanket, get the right weight (check their chart) and this is MAGIC. If you have joint paint particularly in your knees maybe go lighter but otherwise go by your weight and it’s amazing. I had a lighter one and it was nice but the heavier one is HEAVEN. Like a constant hug that never gets hot or uncomfortable. Also just in case you already have a cover this has 3x3 layout of the loops to tie to the cover, I only mention this cause some covers are 4x3. 4 stars is simply due to random price fluctuations.

Wow I just had the deepest night of sleep with this blanket! I had heard they are good for people who like a lot of blankets and it’s true. I’m not the kind of person that can sleep with a sheet on. I need the weight. Typically I have to have the room quite cold and then I have my sheet, thin quilt, comforter with duvet cover, robe and a blanket on top! My boyfriend thinks I’m crazy. Its always cozy at first but then I sweat when I fall asleep. (I know, shocking). Well last night with my new weighted blanket, I eliminated my quilt, blanket and robe! I loved the feeling of the thin but heavy blanket. Reminded me of an xray blanket but much softer. I laid down to try it out and was out immediately. Obviously I highly recommend. Only thing is you can’t wash it in the washing machine. Maybe I should get some kind of protective cover if it’s offered.

Make sure to look •You will have to size up if you want the blanket to drape down the sides of the bed. •Read care instructions. So many people throw them into the dryer and then complain about the quality of the blanket. A lot of these blankets do not recommend you put them in the dryer. 💞I got mine in 2021 and it is still a great blanket! Mine is super small 48x72. Wish I had the larger size for my queen bed, which still will only cover the top of the bed. But I would only buy it for the looks, so I do not need a bigger one in reality. It is nice and heavy, comforting and is soft. I love it!

The best weighted blanket I have ever bought. The blanket helps me tremendously and I sleep so much better using this. I don’t recommend to pregnant women, or young kids because this one is the heaviest by weight. Though it’s is just warm enough and not overly hot. It’s perfect. You can use this sleeping in any position. This really helps even I have anxiety and it feels like my skin is crawling or I mentally feel uncomfortable in my own skin for some reason. This is also evenly distributed weight and perfect for anxiety, my restless legs and I wish I had gotten this sooner. 5 stars all around. Very durable though if you have a pet that likes to shred things like I do be careful. It’s essentially like bean bags in each sewn square. Almost feels like the thin lead protection used when you get an X-ray, though obviously it’s much larger. I bought the twin even though I am on a king with my wife. I use the weighted blanket and have the shared blanket over it. I feel like a single very large one is they sell it would be too much. Was packed in a nice bag. I washed before use on a delicate cycle and delicate dryer setting.

I thought this would be very comforting but in all honesty, I feel like a piece of dough being rolled out for a pie. I actually hurt worse in my old bones for being held captive in my own bed all night. And trips to the bathroom in the night are clearly "trips" to the bathroom. It's actually treacherous. On the bright side though... I sure stay warm!

When it got delivered, the cover/bag holding both the blanket and the duvet cover I bought were opened and the blanket arrived with threads and "dust" from the delivery. Not sure if this is the fault of the seller or not. The tag on the blanket was completely cut off and hence there is no cleaning instructions. The reviews all state different instructions on how to actually clean this blanket, if you look up the twin version of this blanket it says spot clean and flat dry, while the official instruction from the tag on the blanket says dry clean. Maybe that is why it was cut off so people do not dry clean the blanket as it may have been the wrong instruction??? But if you remove the tag and do not put instructions on how to clean the blanket and have to dig through reviews to come to a conclusion it is not a good look. I have no idea how to clean the actual blanket now except for using a lint collector to pink up all the dirt from the blanket and use the duvet cover and pray I do not dirty the bed if the duvet cover were to open. As for the blanket itself, its a weighted blanket and serves its purpose well. This blanket along with the duvet costs about $100SGD when I bought it which is a lot cheaper than others. Its a shame the cleaning instruction is non existent and if you are worried about your hygiene like I am it is a headache to try to find a way to clean it.

I've waited a long time before purchasing a weighted blanket mostly because they can be super expensive. This was a great affordable option. Its a perfect size - just my size as I'm a notorious blanket stealer and its super airy and comfy. I have massive anxiety and insomia. This is perfect for falling asleep and when I wake up in the middle of the night. It feels like a giant hug. Go get one you will not be disappointed!
