I fixed my Kitchen Aid Mixer with this kit! Had to Youtube the directions, but it fixed the problem, and sure was cheaper than buying a new one.

I used this set to replace my old, worn-out gear. After removing the old grease, I installed the new gear and applied a generous amount of new grease from the kit. The push-pin pliers included in this set are an absolute must-have. Because the kit comes with them, the entire job only took about half an hour!

The KitchenAid replacement gear part fits and works as expected once installed, and it helped get my mixer running again. However, stop working after few days later.The quality seems ok but the installation can was challenging .

If you’re a kitchen baker and using your cake mixer a lot or just a casual baker that uses a mixer very seldomly. The one thing you both have in common is when you’re ready to bake, you expect your mixer to work! My wife was ready to bake a cake with her Kitchen Aid Plus 600 series…but the mixer wasn’t! The beaters weren’t mixing. So, like a good husband it was either buy her a new one at $300-$800 dollars or try repairing her existing one? I chose to try and repair! Once I took the top off of the mixer and inspected, I noticed that the beaters were gear driven, and that the mixer’s motor was running just fine. Inspecting the gears more closely, I noticed that the gear teeth had been worn down on the single piece gear worm, so I decided to look for that part. Much to my surprise there were a lot of options out there, but one stood out amongst those, and it was sold through Amazon. Not a big surprise, you can find everything on Amazon! The seller was amazing, selling a great product at a great price! But, the amazing thing was not only the replacement part being compatible to the original, it came sold with every other part you would possibly need…including the bakers grease to re-grease the gears after putting new gear worm on. The other good thing was that it was suitable for most Kitchen Aid mixers, and other brands from what it looks like. All for the great price of $15 bucks! ($13 if you choose, without pliers). I highly recommend everyone to buy this kit. It’s your choice…$300 to $800 for a new mixer or buy this kit at $15 bucks! You won’t be disappointed, I know my wife wasn’t! It works like new!

The parts fit perfectly and the bottle contained plenty of grease to coat everything upon re-assembly. It was a very inexpensive way to fix our mixer. The tool isn't very heavy duty and was cumbersome to use. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Order arrived very promptly. The quality of the gear was good, the only part that was stripped out in my unit. The only issue was the snap ring pliers not being sized for the holes on the original ring. The snap ring that came with the package was not of good quality and I would strongly recommend using the original one.
