I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter and it arrived today. I can already tell it’s a 10 out of 10 toy. One thing she loves is painting nails. The problem is, after all our nails are painted she still wants to keep going. The fun ends too quickly. One day she came across an unused paint brush and she pretended to paint my nails over and over for a few days. That’s when I thought this toy might actually go over really well rather than frustrating her due to the lack of paint. Upon opening the delivery box she immediately gasped and wanted to play. She might have been confused or disappointed by the lack of paint for maybe 10 seconds. I started following the activity card and showing her how to use all the accessories. By that point she was hooked! We played nail shop for 45 minutes straight until I had to insist we go pick up her brother from school. She brought a few polish bottles with her for the ride! I like all of the accessories included so she has realistic play. The polish bottles and brushes are slightly oversized and the other accessories are a thick plastic, so everything should be durable in little hands. I love that the clear plastic shelf is functional and that all the accessories (besides the bowl and dryer) store on it, including grooves to hold the color guide and the activity card. I see her looking at the pictures on the activity card and trying to follow along, so I’m glad it has a dedicated spot so we won’t lose it. Neither me nor my daughter are particularly girly, but this is an incredibly adorable play set! The price is decent and with a name like Melissa and Doug backing it, I wouldn’t hesitate to gift it or recommend it to others.

Money well spent! I bought this when my 1st granddaughter was born. She's 5 now and still plays with it. Her little sister (2ys old) LOVES it now too. Don't hesitate to buy it for your littles or for a gift.

Kids love it

My baby is 18 months and she has recently obtained an obsession with painting nails. She has two older sisters that like to paint nails so she wants to obviously join in the fun, but the mess was not worth it. I saw this and figured I'd give it a whirl. YES! Yes to all of it. You can fill the bottles with water and get the "gloss" look that satisfies my baby. The nail clippers "click" giving her the impression she's actually doing what the real ones do. The lotion bottle can be filled, the nail polish remover bottle can be filled also, and it pumps! It was meant for my baby but my older girls spent all afternoon going over the sheet that came with it to give out mani/pedis at their new salon. They especially loved the nail drying light. I have one for gel nails and my baby really liked it, now she has her own that has a light that can be turned on and off. I mean - it's all the best. The sheet and nail guide is durable material. can use a dry erase on it. can withstand water. Love it. love it love it love it.

Perfect for my three year old!!

I went to open it to show you all pictures but there are 20+ pieces and it's for Christmas for my daughter who is 4.5 and I was afraid I wouldn't get everything back in the box 😂. But it is super cute. Perfect for the age range. For anyone little who like makeup and nails but is not ready to apply themselves. Great value. Perfect size for little hands.

It’s super cute & creative, my 2 year old daughter is obsessed with it. First thing she wants to do in the morning is play with this & the Melissa & Doug makeup kit. Only downside is it doesn’t come with a storage container for all the pieces, like their makeup kit does. For $25+ you’d think they’d include something to store everything in. So for that I knocked off a star. Other than that no complaints! We had an extra clear bin we bought a while ago from Costco that is now her designated bin for her pretend beauty supplies :)

This nail set is amazing. I am a nail tech and my friends child loves all my nail tools, but is 2 1/2 years old. They absolutely LOVE this set! The lamp lights up, just like real ones do and the nail polish bottles open and have little brushes so the kids can "paint" nails with no fear of polish getting all over the place! The nail clippers even move like real ones and make a clicking noise so they little ones feel like they are actually using the tools! Love, love, love this!!! I would have given more than 5 stars if possible!

Purchased one each for my 2 granddaughters ages 2.5 and 3 years at Christmas . Both loved the gift and parents attested to hours of pretend play. A big hit with the little girls!
