Perfectly good cutting
Packaging was good on arrival. I potted in a citrus potting mix, waiting a few weeks (it can be a slow grower if potted up after you receive it) and all of a sudden this plant is thriving in a south facing window. Don't expect any limes yet as I don't know how old the original plant was that the cutting came from, but people be aware - it could take 3-5 years before you see fruit, but again, it depends on the age of the mother plant. Also I've seen negative reviews about leaves being cut in half when they arrive - this is normal. Cutting the leaves in half on plant cuttings minimises moisture loss through evaporation, allowing the stem to focus its energy on growing new roots. This isn't 'damage' to your plant from the seller, it's just what a lot of plant distributers do for plant cuttings. It's fine. Don't get shouty about it.

Attractive leafy houseplant update June 2025
I ordered this lime plant in March 2022. The small plant was green and healthy. I planted in the recommended compost for citrus fruits and the leafy plant has flourished. It's managed to grow its first 3 flowers in the last few weeks but not a hint of a lime yet though. Update June 1st 2025 - after quite a few flowers we finally have a lime! Size to the very tip is 5cm.

Young but healthy
Love it, it is what I expected and it has some new growth. Looks really healthy. It is likely to be a while before it fruits as it is such a young tree. If you want an older tree closer to fruiting you would need to select the more expensive option.
