I used this product for a craft project that I am doing, It turned out to be perfect for what I wanted it for, which was name labels on a hinge. (note: not used for what the product was designed for). The glue strip was strong.

Hinge works. However the glue does not hold in any situation where there is heat.

I found this product on a BMW K1200LT motorcycle forum. My motorcycle has a vanity mirror in the top case. We'll after 17 years of wear, the hinge pins broke. A member on the forum suggested this as a replacement. This was the best bet, since the hinges are built into the top case, and the part is out of production. This was the best bet. Although I never use the mirror, I'm fickle and wanted it back on its original place. Simple to use and I'd definitely recommend this as a replacement for broken hinges

The adhesive on these plastic hinges rips off easily. Most people like things that are easy but don't like things that are claimed to be strong but turn out to be weak. The adhesive on these hinges does not even adhere to the plastic on the hinge, let alone to whatever it is that you will be trying to attach THAT to. If you want these to work the way you thought they would work you will have to remove the adhesive that comes with them. This is easy because it doesn't stick in the first place. Don't you love it when people make things easy for you? Then you will have to purchase some heavy duty mounting tape (preferably for outdoor use), and cut it to appropriate length. You will have to buy some $50.00 scissors to do this right. Then you have to attach the strips to the plastic and clamp them in place overnight. You could save yourself about $70.00 by getting metal hinges and applying the adhesive to them if you do not want to use screws for some reason.

These hinges are durable and have worked exactly how I wanted them to.

Bought this for a project that required a plastic door and a wooden box to be hinged. This product stuck to both like a charm. No peeling and the hinge swings freely. No complaints here

Did not stick very well

I wanted to keep two monitors (displays), aligned. Yes, that's a problem with me. But I also needed to occasionally change their angle. These have worked perfectly!!
